I don't understand! The rooms are quite old and narrow - especially since there's still a big box (air conditioning) in the way! then the breakfast was taken in a lobby and sat down! everything was improvised! we had no more bread - only packaged cucumbers. Everything was minimalist! in addition, it was all dirty in this room. The seat was stained, the floor had not been cleaned for a long time and the storage was dirty!

On the way

The hotel is in an excellent position, because it is located in the center of the village and has a view over the Vajont dam. It is a bit retrograde, but there is a family friendly reception. The breakfast is excellent, you can also enjoy a good aperitif. You can bring dogs that are accepted in all rooms of the hotel, because the owners are convinced animalists and dog lovers. The rooms are spacious and provided with every comfort.

Acceptance and sympathy, a great acquaintance

The hotel is in an excellent position (in the centre of the city) for those who want to spend a few days in Longarone: it has everything at hand without the need to move around with a means. The staff is very kind, caring and professional. The small problems I have reported have always been quickly and promptly solved. The rooms, even those facing directly on the road (like ours), clean and comfortable.

Central and convenient

When I first entered the hotel, I thought I had made a time trip!! Everything from the 60s and 70s, worn out and through!! The most important thing for the lady at the reception was that I could type the code for the night entrance correctly, because the hotel was closed for the rest of the day!?!? But in the morning there were 5 other guests at breakfast!!! The elevator didn't work and the windows that could actually provide a great view are definitely not cleaned for 10 years!!

I have returned with great pleasure again this year and it is always a pleasure to see the availability and kindness of the owners.

Hotel always recommended

Good location in the center of Longarone, convenient if you want to stroll around.Basically, you'd need to renovate something, but clean and pleasant.The beds are comfortable, and spacious.Buffet breakfast is right and abundant.At the front desk ask for, although it's usually always easy, the access code for the side door if you arrive later than the reception closing time.

Longorone was destroyed in 1963 (flooded by the water released by a massive landslide into a nearby reservoir) and rebuilt  - sad, interesting to see how it's adapting as a modern town in an otherwise quite old area ...

There's a place for a fridge/minibar in the room, but it's empty. Get your cold drinks from the refrigerator at reception.  While it wouldn't rank as an obvious place to visit there's a certain interest in seeing how a town has been rebuilt after such a disaster.

OK hotel in Longarone

This hotel is located in the center of Longarone, 2 steps from the railway station. Beautiful breakfast room with a view to the Piave River and the Vajont dam. The room was nice, comfortable and quiet. Very spacious the bathroom. The TV in the room was tuned to a few national channels. Good and abundant breakfast and very kind receptionists. In general the judgement is very good.

Recommended hotel holidays

Our room was very spacious, with a corner table, a double bed, a three-seater sofa and a small cabin. Unfortunately, to make us stay inside the sofa, the bed was moved from its natural position between the dressing rooms and the room was put in its place! Honestly, there was no router in the room and the convenience of sleeping without a dressing room and a second receiver switch or at least a handheld receiver switch that was turned off for the second person and the light, I would have to confuse the old story.
