The apartments are very comfortable. The balcony was very spacious with the most amazing view. Because of this it is quite high up,which  means a bit of a hike to get there if you come by bus as we did. However, the owner, Alessio came to pick us up from the bus station and took us to our apartment. There is also a bus, the C13, that will take you most of the way. There are also paths that lead from the town to the apartments, so you don't have to walk on the road. The temp. was 30 deg. and we are in our 70's, but we managed it. If you come by car there are good directions to the apartments with ample parking places. Alessio is very kind and will help you any way he can. He went to the bakers for us every morning to bring us fresh bread and croissants, which were the best we have ever tasted. From Menaggio you can get anywhere by bus or ferry. We went to Lake Lugano in Switzerland one day, which only took an hour on the bus. We were very sorry to leave and would highly recommend these apartments to anyone.

Best view ever.

Great Stay in a very clean and nice apartment. Super friendly Host Alessio! Highly recommended to everybody looking for an affordable location to stay. Some really nice restaurants near by and perfect spot for starting you day trips around lake Como and lake Lugano.

Great experience with a super host!

We stayed at Alessio's for a week and it's not a regret, it's a super nice apartment with a great view of Lake Como. Alessio is very nice and is there immediately when you need him. We will definitely come back.

Perfect vacation, great host

We would have arrived much later in Menaggio if not for Alessio, till now the loveliest host I have encountered in our journeys, thank you again!
 The apartment has everything you need to feel comfortable and Alessio even brings fresh baked goods every morning if you wish so. 
Looking forward to going back and continue exploring that beautiful piece of Italy.

Apart from the geographical location and the exceptional view of the balcony, the kindness and availability of Alessio adds the final touch to this perfect stay.

On top of it!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay here back in October. We didn't know exactly where to go when the bus dropped us off by the lake so we called and Alessio sent his darling parents to pick us up and drop us at the hotel. Upon our arrival to the well appointed apartment we found a welcome bottle of proseco and some snacks. We enjoyed them while we took in the incredible view from our little balcony. We were there right when the off season began for Lake Como and the town had mostly rolled up the sidewalks so even catching the grocery store open was difficult, but Allessio kindly offered to acquire groceries for us. This hotel is a little far up the mountain but there is a foot path right next to it that will take you down to the lake in about 20 minutes. The walk is beautiful and very well marked. I found it arduous to walk back up and taxis are difficult to find (or just take your sweet time). The hotel has a restaurant that was closed while we were there but there was a good restaurant (I can't recall the name) about a 3 minute walk down the mountain. Allessio even gifted  us a bottle of homemade limoncello from his mother. This place was a great value and Alllesio was a fantastic host.

A wonderful little apartment with a beautiful view and a great host!

I stumbled across this place whilst researching where to stay in the Lake Como area. What took my interest was the view photo. Then I read some of the reviews. They are all correct - Alessio is the best host ever. Nothing is too much trouble for him. He was aware we were only travelling on public transport and the approx time we would get to Menaggio on the ferry. Whist he was otherwise busy he arranged for his parents to pick us up and take us to the apartment. For the rest of our 3 day visit he made sure all went well for us. Right down to going to town early mornings and bringing us fresh croissants for breakfast and taking us down to the town/ferry on occasions. The apartment was very clean and functional. The view is breathtaking from the balcony. We spent all our evenings there taking it all in with some nice wines purchased locally. The restaurant below the apartments is good for evening meals. We would highly recommend these apartments.

One of the world's best views!!!

What a great holiday. Soon after we booked, we received an email from the lovely Alessio with helpful information about our booking. We emailed before arrival with a query which was answered promptly. Shortly before we arrived, we received an email with more helpful information.

Alessio’s directions were great and there is a lot of parking. Within 20 minutes of arriving, Alessio arrived and showed us around. He gave us a lot of useful tourist info and maps and made it clear that we could contact him at any point with any questions we had. 

There was chilled prosecco and some crisps ready for us. The apartment was equipped brilliantly. Lots of space. Perfect for our little family.

Alessio delivered fresh bread and often still warm croissants each morning. They were there when we got up. Lovely touch. One day we forgot to get milk and Alessio brought this with him along with the pastries. Nothing was too much trouble. He bent over backwards throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. 

The location was great. A hilly walk down to the lake - we managed it with our one year old but learnt after day one to rely on the sling and not bother with the pushchair. The cobbles were not pushchair friendly! The walk back was steep, but made us feel less guilty about the pasta and pizza we had been scoffing! Some may struggle but there is the option to drive or get a bus/cab. Lovely Alessio even offered to help with a lift if he was available!

There is a great little restaurant below the apartments which was run by a delightful family. They treated us like friends and made a big fuss of our toddler. We ate in one night and grabbed a couple of takeaways on other nights. Great value.

We think one of Alessio’s relatives runs the magnolia restaurant five mins down the road. Highly recommend this place. We have reviewed this
separately - highly recommended.

Despite the reviews we read and pictures we saw, nothing prepares you for the amazing view from the incredible balcony. We loved sitting out there. Our toddler loved playing out there and it was lovely and secure. The electronic canopy was amazing too. 

We will definitely return. We loved it here and Alessio was the perfect host. Thank you.

Fantastic apartments, amazing host! Cannot fault.

The apartments have a great view to the lake. Sitting in the balcony at dawns and evening gives you an outstanfing panoramic picture of the lake.
Along with the view, Alessio is an outstanding host who pays attention to all details and making the difference between good and great with his great personal treatment.
Apartment is few minutes driving from town center so location is very good as well

Great view, better hospitality

The apartments were lovely, clean, and well priced. And the views were amazing! Alessio was also very friendly and helpful. We were there for three nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. I'd love to go back!
