I have never received such treatment, especially in the south where I am welcomed every year in a warm and excellent way. However, in this restaurant there is rudeness and disparity of treatment. I would have closed my eyes on the kitchen of a rather questionable level, since ordering a tablecloth came even cold.. but I do not transition on the service received, as a table next to it has been fitted as it should and our tablecloths barely... and when I had explanations I got the chilling answer, in dialect, that the gentleman next to it was a doctor...beh, assuming that you can never have the same treatment in front of you, I think you know that you must have customers regardless of social class.

Culinary and moral mediocrity

Clean rooms and nothing to laugh at in this b&b that allows you to stay overnight in Mercogliano at a great price...not the best of its kind but I can assure you that you will find its rooms clean, tidy, comfortable and with the minimum necessary that you can expect from a b&b. I highly recommend it if you want to take a nap in those parts.

The indispensable strait

First we talk about the hotel, it's not, there are rooms for two or more people, furnished in a simple and essential way, with obvious flaws, the cost is low, the cleanliness is good, for one night a small parking lot, managed by a family to use only if you have an adaptation spirit. Restaurant is not. It's a real tractor, with a tractor and family efficient in their simple word menu, snack sliced with good products, fresh pasta with excellent mushrooms, gnocchi, good ones all a little salty.

The only positive note of the venue regarding the furnishings is the large fireplace on the right side of the room. For the rest, no comment. However, as the furnishing is a secondary aspect (for obvious reasons), I go to the food evaluation.

I'm going to...

I spent four nights in Mercogliano, for an artistic initiative, with a friend, and other artists, well, apart from the very nice place, I ate very well, with exquisite kindness and courtesy, from the owners, plus I had a room, with a huge terrace.

I was in Mercogliano with a friend of mine, for several days, from Addo Barone, hotel, restaurant, run by a family, who with extreme courtesy, kindness, professionalism, makes you feel comfortable, creating among other things, Irpini dishes, really excellent.
