First of all, I was shocked by the negative reviews written before mine...I wonder why!!? We stayed overnight, very close to the sanctuary at an excellent price. Dated but clean, very quiet rooms with a window facing the street. The owner who welcomed us very kindly, by the hand...also let us park in the inner garage. The other owner who checked us out, also nice, looks like Michele Placido :) Another positive aspect a small gentleman, with a few gray hairs (maybe named Nicola Rotondo) brought me back the bag left at the bar...if we go back to San Giovanni Rotondo, we'll do it to greet him and maybe even drink a coffee together...

Simplicity at a great price!

I slept one night at the white boarding house, the structure is very simple but the location is very convenient because in front of the church breakfast is served in paper cups and with little choice, the rude staff.

A Night at the Sanctuary

We only stayed one night with my wife, old-fashioned room, shaky sanitation, non-existent breakfast, little seriousness of owners, little professionalism, the room without amenities is not worth the cost.

A short break from work

I'm just saying that managers should be ashamed to keep a hotel like this open -- very old rooms, furniture from dead grandparents, bed with a broken mattress, crap on the balcony, and they take as many renovated and nearby hotels, not to mention the lack of hospitality and professionalism of the people who run it.

Terrible, ugly old and uncomfortable

I've never seen anything like this! Very rude and incompetent managers! Practically non-existent breakfast not served but you do it yourself! Take the tray by yourself! Coffee and cappuccino in paper cups! Fatigued rooms with cold water and clogged drains! Shaky and dangerous toilets! Dirty docks with no toilet paper or toilet towels! Cold with dirty blankets and bad smells! Everything very dirty in a total degradation of the outside and above all the inside! Do you think it will be enough? Never again!

Toilet is dirty! I found hair on the sink and the toilet seat doesn't look any better.. no toilet paper. For some reason they put the toilet bowl brush in it's container on top of the toilet seat!!! The girl who cleans the rooms looks like no more than 16 years old who naturally knows nothing about hygiene. You pay 25 euros.. I was not expecting alot when I paid this price but for the love of God at least a clean toilet 😷

Very dirty toilet

I went there just out of necessity... even though there are several hotels in the hospital area I chose this because it's closer... too small room even for one person... the bathroom, old is to say nothing, the shower without the box curtain is next to the door, and not exactly clean with a bad smell of sewage.

Modest, free and spending little, the closest to the sanctuary, friendly to the owners, garage, intimate, suitable for the faithful who go for devotion and not for voluntary things, cost of sleep, 25.00 euros per person, lunch with menus from 5.00 to 11.00 euros.

the ideal place for those who visit these places without claims of perfection. the availability of the manager is good. the rooms are spacious and are right next to the sanctuary. the cleanliness can be improved. the attached restaurant is of good quality

Good quality pension

We escaped after five minutes in the room, rooms communicating with each other through sliding doors that at first glance looked like closets, and you were actually in the room, sliding through this door, and you were in another room, dirty bathrooms, not working TV.
