The only "problem" I had was the parking which was far and was hard to
understand the process of activate it - but a side of this small issue all in all
very good hotel.
Central location - inside shopping arcade.
Reception know English !!!! nice surprise....
Free wine and coffee / drink is lobby.
good room size and good bed.

Apart from that, it is a 3 star hotel going on 2 star. Adequate rooms, breakfast was ok. Easy walk to town centre  you are right next to the covered shopping arcade. Loved the city and the hotel was a good place to crash after the 2nd Oita QF France v Wales. 

The BBC were staying and broadcasting here, I pointed out Matt Dawson to 4 Japanese rugby fans, they hadn't heard of him until I showed the famous 2003 RWC winning drop goal from Johnny Wilkinson after aforrmentioned scrum half passed to him. They then had their mobiles snapping MD as he was in mid-podcast with Christopher Jones. Must gave looked odd from Matt's perspective! 

In summary, average clean hotel, prices I'm sure more moderate after the rugby left town. I loved Oita it's brilliant people. The staff at the hotel were equally friendly.

Like many average hotels, hiked their prices massively for RWC 2019.

Room was clean, staff were friendly and the breakfast was a very good way to start the day (although the staff tend to put out fried eggs that were cold - perhaps cold eggs are more acceptable in Japan than in the West).  Centrally located in Oita.  Rooms were very quiet.

Very good hotel for a simple no-frills stay

Stayed here over RWC weekend 

Rooms are very spacious for Japanese standards. 

Excellent location within easy walking distance of the station & main shopping areas. 

There is a great enclosed walkway/shopping stripe behind the hotel that provides you plenty of access to nearby cafes, restaurants & bars. 

You will find plenty of hidden gems around here.

Getting to hotel is very easy from airport via the Oita airport direct bus service - approx 1 hour trip.

Great location 

The hotel handled well the Rugby World Cup influx of tourists, with smooth processing. Well located from station & near numerous restaurants. Room was basic but perfectly functional & clean. Recommend

Good location

I like to stay this Hotel. I stayed this hotel from 5/8/18 to 10/8/18.
Toilet was “Japanese smart toilet “.very good !
Breakfast was good taste , Japanese styles food and Europe style food available.
Coffee making machine can be used at any time for complimentary.
Location is saturated in shopping areas and restaurants.
Price is reasonable.
I will stay there for next time if I have a chance to come Oita.


I like to staying there 

Room was clean and lovely. The design was more sophisticated than standard Japanese business hotels. I loved the bed and pillows. Staff were nice. Worth more than it's price. Highly recommend for a business trip. 

Lovely hotel

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the station, but it's flat and you can enjoy looking at all the colourful pavers on the way. It's a great location in proximity to restaurants, bars and shops. 
The room was lovely, with minimalist decoration, comfy bed, and clean and new.
We didn't use the restaurant at all.

Clean modern and aesthetically pleasing.

I think FORZA is the most suitable hotel for long stay, yes sure short stay too,in the erea of the Oita station. At first, accomodation is very clean and stylish, so it made me relax. Second, its location is good. It takes about 10 minutes from Oita staion by walk, but not matter. One of the entrance is connected to an arcade street with roof. So you don't need to have any ambrella on rainy days. In additon, you can find lots of stores in a minute where you have to visit every day, convinience store, tavern, cafe, super market and so on. Also it is near Miyako-machi. I stayed here only 3 nights on business. If I had a chance to come to Oita, I must book here again.

We stayed one night in Oita Regal and One night in Forza hotel. We felt Forza is much mich better than Regal. We must come back to forza for our next trip in Oita.

Good:
