Very convenient for simple but sufficient comfort, all at a mini price. Very friendly accommodation, free parking and public transport at the foot of the hotel to recommend. The hotel's restaurant is a big plus.

A clean and cheap hotel near the airport

Good quality price for this very well located hotel. Clean, bed in good condition. There are no blinds but a curtain that does not hide: rather embarrassing when you are under the lampstand.

Do the job.

Clean establishment, close to wooded areas and individual homes friendly and dedicated staff. impeccable quality prices with proper breakfast. only traffic noise, as early as 5 am, causes a nuisance (intersection)

My party of 3 who were prebooked had our passports photocopied and were then required to write our addresses on the back and sign. This was demanded by a sour faced receptionist. In 30 years traveling in Europe I have never experianced this before.
Breakfast was plain continental which was no problem. However one should not have to ask for butter to put on the bread and for the orange juice. Also one should not have to ask if a second cup of coffee was possible.
However after the above complaints I can say the rooms were very clean and the hotel has a good resturant with friendly staff.

Surly staff who treat customers as criminals

Stayed in Charlys Gare for two nights for business, it is very basic, bed just off the floor, had a single room. It was clean but basic. Shower is small and controls are just in the wrong place, so when moving around you catch the controls with your elbow and end up either shutting it off or cooking yourself. Basin didn’t drain properly either.

Getting there is a bigger adventure, as if you are new to the place and jump in a taxi they spend the next 10 minutes moaning it is only two minutes away and why not walk? Well maybe the snow, the fact I don’t know where I am going and the fact there isn’t a pathway (we later found out it is an accident blackspot), oh and it is a half hour walk.... same thing happened to my colleague who arrived before me earlier in the day and ended up walking for half an hour, feet soaked through ....

Local tennis club is great, nice food, top bar staff and a warm welcome.

Quality and preparation of dishes leave much to be desired! It is imperative to avoid spaghetti carbonara which has nothing in common with this succulent but simple Italian specialty, except the name! And when the Portuguese waiter asks you if it was good, it is useless to answer him...he is convinced to master the kitchen (probably for this reason he remained waiter!). The high prices are unrelated to the level of cooking offered.

It's not good.

Enjoyable personnel. Very good Italian restaurant. Parking space is available on site. Close to a nice recreational forest, perfect for biking/jogging. Bus stop to Luxembourg-city/Luxembourg-airport in front of the hotel.

Positive: - Price - Cleanliness - WLAN speed and stability is sufficiently negative: - Breakfast not in buffet form --> not bad in itself, but gave only sweet (no cheese/ sausage) - lacking fountain - The mountain view is a joke.

Medium to good hotel

As said by other reviewers, the rooms are basic but very clean.  Good for a couple of nights but if you want to stay longer, think the rooms would be too small for a two persons.  Also the bath room and shower have  a minimum space.  Classic breakfast is ok.

The friendly reception of the boss and his staff, the cleanliness and comfort of the room, the quality of the restaurant (fresh and homemade products), the possibility of free parking, 5 minutes by bus from the airport, public transport outside the hotel,... The Must price report!
