Hotel is full of absurd rules that are no advertised until you arrive. No wifi in rooms. When checked in a sales woman was super persistent after telling her several times we did not want to hear her conversation about buying with vidanta. She did not want to give us our bracelet to go in to the room if we did not agree to listen to her sales pitch. There are special pools you can use if you go through the painful sales spearhead. My husband was harassed out of the pool because he was wearing a cotton T-shirt.   Pool attendants were bothering everyone that was wearing a tshir and some people could not even get in the pool . We asked to get a manager to explain why he could not use a tshirt  but the attendant said he did not know the reason and the manager was not going to come. Only in restaurant has some wifi. 
The beach is far away and only very few places to sit, otherwise you need to pay to be in the sand. After being without tourists for so long you would think that they would be happy to help tourist feel at home but it seems that they prefer to be empty than to have good customer service. We will not come back

Worst hotel stay ever

The super dirty, neglected and old hotel, the closed pool and sent us to the opposite place where we were left alone in one of the three seaside pools without a waitress, had to be bought from the beach ambulances.

The worst place.

Very well situated, no beach (front) ), no elevator, no valet parking for your car, seems to work solo in high season no bajas (te envían al Mayan) very good Italian restaurant, take a photo of TV for old and image no clear sound is not understood, air conditioning old noisy and smell of humidity and not functioning properly, alberca chica pero bien, personal friendly, we should check the check-out account because you charge 300 pesos for a donation???

The congress was held.

At the entrance the suitcase was very nice, but a young lady approached me to invite me to meet the Grand Mayan and others from the chain and she offered me things and the more I said no, the more she offered me and she didn't say this in Booking. The room showed me two double beds and they gave me a single bed and two sofa beds that didn't meet my needs.

What I don't like

The attention is regular, pulling it equally. They don't have Wi-Fi, so if you want or need to use it you have to go to the reception in a room with 4 seats. Super uncomfortable There's to cross the avenue and a very wide block to get to the beach. You'll get to another hotel with the q having a deal back and forth because no vas of the hotel good the cleaning is not very good, I give 6. Of the 4 days I was only 2 really cleaned. If you fell behind the bathroom door and there was another 4 days!! The bed was sleepy, and the food, but very rich for what it was.

A place to stay.

It's a shame that they offer a hotel with a view that has a closed time; however, in return they send you to the lower-class hotel that has the Mayan Palace (which is no longer Mayan but Vidanta) and it's not that the hotel is bad, but I think they should have the kindness to explain before buying. My wife and I decided to get up early Friday night to spend Saturday and Sunday at the beach, look for hotels and think about that, it wasn't such a good experience.

It's not in service, you'll be sent to another.

We arrived at the hotel and a security guard informed us that it had not been inaugurated, and that they were transferring them to another hotel of the same chain.If a good hotel el maya, but to put a hotel that is not providing services, no one apologized or explained, absolutely nothing! and it seems that there is no time to open it.

Oh, the goodness of God!

Terrible hotel. Don't expect much, not even a clean bathroom and decent towels. In the description here in Trip Advisor says it has a gym, however, they do not have one and if you want to go you have to go to another hotel nearby for an extra charge. Same thing for the WiFi...expect an extra charge.

Be cautious with the sales people that want to trick you into buying a time share...tacky!!!

Fraud

We´ve been here 3 times at least and it was always a great experience. We highly recommend the suite rooms where up to 6 people can be acommodated. It has a small kitchen with a round table, perfect to have breakfast there.

comfortable hotel

I was in Acapulco for a wedding, and this was one of the options. As I knew I wouldn't spend a lot of time in the hotel that weekend, I booked it.
It's located about 15 min from the airport, it's useful to tell the cab driver the second name of the hotel (Sea Garden) as Ocean Breeze apparently is newer and my taxi driver didn't know it. 
No beach, just a pool. Didn't use it, but it seemed ok. my room had a view to the golf course. 
If you are on a higher floor, there is no elevator. No minibar in room. My room only had one plug, definitely not enough nowadays. 
Cleanliness was not overwhelming. bathroom would have needed a bit more, room was ok. 
Did not use any other facilities. 
They do have a shuttle that goes over to the Mayan and their beachclub that can be used.
