We just stayed here, 9/22/22-9/24/22, the hottest month of the year. We chose here because their site listed AC. After a day of traveling, we arrived and found out that the a/c is only available from 9pm-6am, an important piece of information I overlooked on the website. 

Their website has two pages w/ prices. One is updated, one is not. This was sorted out via text through WhatsApp before our stay. They were very responsive via text, not so much via email.

We stayed in bungalow Calibri. The patio has a hammock, table w/ chairs, drinking water, ice chest, water pitcher and cups. Ice is available upon request. The room had two beds, one end table, small armoire and first aid kit hanging on the wall which was nice to know it was there. The bath room had shampoo, conditioner and two bath towels were provided in the form of towel art on the bed. There were no hand towels or wash clothes. 

The water is trucked in for the town so water is considered gold there. Don't flush unless you need to and definitely don't flush any paper products down the toilet. Signs say paper towels but please don't take that literally, you shouldn't be flushing  any toilet paper.

Everything was clean but being out in the middle of nowhere, there are bugs. Found a couple of a cucarachas in our room. Adds to the experience.

The location is perfect, right next to "downtown" and within walking to everywhere.

Not to over emphasize, if you go in a hot month, the room is almost unbearable during the day. There is a portable fan to use but they prefer you do not use the overhead fan due to being on solar only. Keep lights off during the day. 

Cabo Pulmo is a special place, completely powered by solar for their power and trucked in water. The people of this town, struggle daily to save power when possible, dependent on solar energy to supply their daily needs. 

This is a place to get away and reset. Swim in the ocean, visit the pool at the dive resort (buy a drink at the resort, use the pool), lay out in the hammock.

I would 100% recommend visiting this beautiful place, especially with the services of CABO PULMO SPORT CENTER, because the company has given excellent care to my family, greetings to our guide Itzel and Captain Óscar.

We stayed here when we finished our lung, and the truth is that it's clean, and comfortable, plus it's right on the beach where you're going for a dive. Everything is fine in cost-benefit ratio. plus for $500 per day extras have A/C which is much appreciated from July to October!!

I'm going to keep it in my heart not so much for the luxury, but rather the room was rather Spartan, but for the wonderful place. After miles of cacti and mountains, you come here, in this lost place, in the middle of the nature park.

This is the place, it has a wifi connection, but technology won't bother you here.There are boats to go scuba diving just a few steps away and the scenery is beautiful.

The perfect place to relax.

We rented their largest, 2-bedroom one in November 2019, seen in the back of the picture. Clean and basic 2-Star accommodation by US standards.  Hammocks on the back porch in the shade and protected from the wind.  Chairs out front.   Beds in good shape.  Nice properly supplied kitchen, but no refrigerator, so we had to buy ice for our ice chests.  Full chest freezer on back porch, which was great as I was traveling with fish caught in SJDC. Smaller unit in front of the picture had kitchen with refrigerator as an outside, glassed in room. Owners very nice. Put out a sign with our name to point the way, but we arrived later than planned after dusk and missed the sign.  A cell call to their number brought out a local employee within 10 minutes.  I would gladly rent from them again.  They also run the Mexican-owned SCUBA/snorkel operation across the street, and we dove a day with them, and can recommend it.  The houses are ~1.5 blocks from the main beach and the one beach side restaurant, and 4+ blocks from others and the only local mini-grocery store.  There is an inexpensive snack/soda stand half way to the market, open on some days. Shop before you get here for anything special and get your basic dry good, milk, and ice resupply in town.

Clean Basic Rental Casitas

We were so pleased with our Bungalow at Cabo Pulmo with such a reasonable price.   The rooms were very clean and we had the added value of a full kitchen.   Two beds in the room made it so easy to spread out after our kayaking trip. The grounds were lovely. The staff were lovely and our only missing item was that we didn't always get hot water in the shower.   This is a nice remote place to visit if you don't mind the 10km on a dirt road.  We stopped here for 2 days on our way from La Paz to SJD airport.  It is off the grid somewhat so no free wifi available.

The Castro family has it right. Ever since old man Castro rode in on a donkey over 100 years ago and claimed Cabo Pulmo as his own, his ancestors have been keeping to his vision like a dog keeps to his scent. Here you will find a paradise so unspoiled that you may just question the path in life you are taking. Go here with eyes wide open. Make sure that it is a Castro that guides you on any route you decide to take. Anything less would be not a true Cabo Pulmo excursion.

We came to Cabo Pulmo in the dark, not knowing what to expect, we randomly stumbled onto the place and they only had one unit available.  We weren't sure, but for 80 dollards we weren't expecting much.  

We hit the lights and were so excited to find a perfect Mexican getaway.  We were so happy, and very much want to return.  Hopefully not too many people catch onto this amazing place.

My boyfriend went scuba diving in Australia, Thailand and Israel and we went to Cabo Pulmo two days ago and this is INCREABLE! says it's the best place I've ever seen! yo snorkelee y la verdad otro nivel! you're in the open sea! and you don't know what you'll find! apart everything is much cheaper if you arrive directly to that if you book a tour in the hotel you stay in, you can't miss these activities in Cabo PULMO!
