The location was the best part about this place. I had doubts about the cleanliness. There was a noticeable amount of hair on that bathroom floor when I arrived. There were drainage issues in the bathroom so it was slippery not only in there but on the floor of the bedroom as well, because you couldn’t help but traipse the water everywhere. The blanket/quilt was the oldest, most threadbare looking thing I’ve seen in all my days. In the main foyer I would see staff folding the bedsheets by laying them on the floor to fold and how clean could that floor possibly be? The hot water worked 6 nights out of 7, so, you know, nearly 7 out of 7.

Before booking somewhere I usually check to ensure that English is one of the languages spoken but in planning my 101 day journey I seemed to have slipped up with this one. This was my fault however, not theirs and I’m not holding it against them in any way, but my friendly smiles upon passing the staff in the reception area were usually greeted with grimaces or reluctant nods of acknowledgment. They seemed a bit begrudging about me being there at all. I always say a smile costs nothing (and as far as I know is well-received by speakers of all tongues). 

I accepted all this however but one thing that bothered me was one night I was having some trouble with the wifi strength in the room so I was sitting in the stairwell where the signal appeared to be better. I was quietly curled up against the wall so as not to be in the way. Two or three people passed by me but it wasn’t like it was a busy thoroughfare. A staff member motioned that I needed to move away from the staircase and pointed back to my room, saying something in Spanish. I complied, feeling irritated. I have this thing about people being moved on from somewhere when they’re not doing any harm. Disgruntled, I returned to my room with its limited wifi. To be fair, he may have had a good reason for asking me to move, it wasn’t his fault I couldn’t understand him or request clarification.

So, I guess it wasn’t my favourite accommodation ever. I do appreciate it is in the budget range (as are all my accommodations) and all that goes with that but there is some room for improvement.

Recreo? Reckon not.

To begin with, there is no definitive hotel, nothing recommended, dirty to death if you are looking to rest is not the personal option, but faced with unwillingness to attend it is better to bet even a little more expensive than this.

The hotel es comodo has everything necessary to rest after a day or work or tourism good location and affordable price for what it offers. flat pants and customer water are a good option for young people.
