I stayed at this hotel in August, a heat wave to die, but before I talk about this hotel I would summarize my arrival in Fes (when I arrived in Fes my reservation was in another hotel, I booked a hotel with a private bath, air conditioning..., when I arrived at that hotel in the afternoon I didn't feel comfortable but good was what I had, when I came back at night everything was worse, dirt, cucumbers, bath in the hallway, etc. At 00h of the night I took my suitcase, alone and in a maze I didn't know and I ran away from that hotel) I looked for a hotel in booking and I saw it, I walked away with an attack of anxiety when I crossed the door of Darmane Othinaina and I saw the patio, I was very quiet, I'm quiet, I'm the guy who cared about the hotel, the guy who cared about me from the right side of the bathroom, but there is no room, there is no room, there is no room, there is no room, there is no room, there is no room, there is no room,

My refuge, my little palace.

Convenient to visit the city of Fes, near the Medina but in a quiet area. A 5 minute walk there is a parking lot that we paid 2€ for about 24h. We had a room of five, three single beds and a double room.. quite large, and clean. A single bathroom, clean, even though the shower is made improperly because it is not closed and skizes everywhere.

Mustafa made us feel at home.

We stayed in this house in three and we were really excited about everything from Aziz's courtesy to the cleanliness of the room to the delicious and abundant breakfast. We were helped to plan our stay the best, for whatever the guy was willing to help us with. The price is great, the location as well as the location. I would recommend you all go if you want to go on a trip to Fes.

You have to take into consideration that this place:
- has a problem with the plumbing and the shower drain and sink drain might clog
- accepts no card payment

Good value for the stay

We arrived in eastern Riyadh welcomed by the people who carried it, on the one hand the owner of the palace and on the other Youssef, the guy who takes care of everything in the Riyadh. We were welcomed after we were given a night out on the reservation we had made in another Riyadh and when we were a little nervous about being left homeless. A deal of 10. They came to bring us by car after dinner at the riyadh, a great breakfast and even prepare us lunch for the last day we leave early to catch a train. Youssef makes you feel at home with the riyadh and his guests.

Tourism is the main source of income.

If I were to judge only the hospitality and availability I would give the highest score. The staff are very warm and welcoming, very professional in organizing the private transfer from the airport quickly, at our request, he found us a good guide for the medina visit and the visit to Volubilis by contacting a good driver with a new and comfortable car.

Kindness and courtesy

Very nice stay at this homely riad. Traditional riad with nice room. We had heating in the room but bathroom was quite cool at the time we stayed. We took the dinner option twice during our 3 night stay and both times it was lovely, there is not much around in the way of restaurants so this was a convenient option for us. Breakfast was a traditional Moroccan spread that was a good start to the day. Host and staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi worked well. Only one small hiccup on our last morning, we had to leave at 9am to catch bus and breakfast usually started at 8am however things were running slightly late and we rushed breakfast down just before 9. We did a half day tour through the riad 250mad and the tour provided was excellent with all major attractions covered by a good english speaking guide. We visited a few shops and places where things were made but there was absolutely no pressure to buy. Overall a recommended place to stay

Lovely Stay

Everything. This was easily our best hotel experience yet!!! Abdul was the most welcoming host and made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. The rooms were beautiful and the breakfasts far exceeded our expectations. Abdul was always around to help and/or guide us and we can't thank him enough for his impeccable service. Every day when we arrived back at the riad, he would ask us how our day was and it made it feel like coming home. Thanks Abdul and thanks to the remainder of the Dar Bab Guissa staff!!!

We stayed at this dar for about 4 nights and it was a beautiful little dar with nicely decorated rooms and courtyard. The owner was so helpful and sat with us to show us the must visit places in Fes and really made us feel welcome. 
The star of the show was however the receptionist Aimad who was so helpful, always attentive and always smiling. 
We woke the poor guy many nights with our late returns from exploring Fes.

The breakfast was really nice, traditional Moroccan breakfast served by the every attentive Aima. The rooms were always cleaned and new towels provided. 

I highly recommend this dar for anyone, they will not let you down!

Wonderful Dar right in the madina! Amazing place!

We spent three days where Ahmed attended to us. Very helpful and friendly and with very good roll. The included breakfasts were plentiful and typical. A couple of days we left before breakfast time and without any problem we prepared and put them to wear. One night we arrived late and sent us a message to see how we were doing. Super thoughtful. To repeat. The lobby is very nice and the rooms are very clean, we made the bed and changed the towels every day. There is soap and gel in the bathrooms Super recommended, with access from outside the gates and to be able to enter the Medina. Very close to the lookout to take pictures from the view of Fes. Genial experience!!
