A memorable stay in Riyadh the oranges of Alilia! I'm only looking forward to being able to come back. Thank you to the hostess Joëlle and all her kind team, Julia, Youssef, Laurent.. a stay full of sweetness and serenity. Everything is beautiful and so beautifully decorated. Breakfast is indeed delicious, delicious. We chose to have our evening meals in Riyadh, we enjoyed ourselves, tajine, couscous... divine! The discussions about the fire... I felt so good! And in the midst of a great situation, Joëlle, top! thank you for all the good advice to discover the city and we will enjoy it!

Delicious, unforgettable

The welcome was very warm from Joelle and her team for unforgettable 5Js at the Ryad des Orangers...Little Dej warm and delicious..Practical and wise tips for visiting Marrakech depending on the weather and having a small restaurant in the evening, good massages...Nice discussions...Everything was at Rendez-Vous to make our stay as pleasant as possible and soak us in the best of the local culture...Thank you Joelle!!!!

This is amazing!

I visited Marrakech as a student nurse many years ago and was hesitant to return. I am so glad I was tempted back by this jewel of a place, one of the most relaxing holidays I have ever had.  Fabulous food to wake up to.  Everything freshly made on the premises.  Beautiful courtyards where you could enjoy freshly infused mint tea whilst flicking through gorgeous “coffee table“ books.  The aroma of orange blossom is quite striking - I didn't think I liked the smell until I went there!

Service was quite incredible. Someone on hand before you had time to look and always with a smile. The staff really want to make it a five star experience for all of their guests - we can't thank them enough.  A sanctuary from the lively bargaining in the souk - about a five minute walk away.

Two of the three swimming pools were heated and wonderful to dip in an out of at any time of the day.v Always somewhere to catch the last rays of the setting sun in comfort on a sun lounger on the roof terrace listening to the fading notes of various calls to prayer.

If we return to Marrakesh, we would not hesitate to go back here and hope we get the opportunity!

Morocco at its best

The riad des oranges is a privileged place. Spacious rooms, decorated with a lot of taste, and all the comfort desired (fridge, big screen TV, air conditioning...). Located in Medina a few meters from the souks this address is to be remembered. Michel, the owner of the place was kind enough to welcome us to the airport and to have you visit the Jemaa el Fnaa square before we took possession of our meal. They gave us room advice on places to visit, found us a guide and his charming wife Atika accompanied us in the middle of the souks. His sister Fatima cooked us a delicious meal. Early on Sunday morning he drove us back to the Aical and the Château de la Fatima (Michel and Marc and Fatima) to accompanied us to the excellent airport of Grenoble as well as to welcome us to the Château de l'Aical and their excellent friendship.

Charmingly decorated rooms, orange-shaped shared tea, kind guests, full of good advice, a terrace with a dream view, a refined kitchen, a medina location that allows you to get lost in the souks.

It's a dream riad.

Nice, traditional, very well equipped Riyadh. Excellent warm welcome. Michel is always at your disposal, whether for visits or advice. Excellent meals are prepared by Fatima and Atika always smiling, who make you discover Moroccan culinary art. Breakfast is very cozy and typical with its fresh orange juice. Riyadh is very close to the souk and Jemaa el Fnaa Square, museums and all amenities. A large café is available to sunbathe even in January, with full views, and in a relaxing calm. This charming Riyadh, with hosts and a team that are a perfect example of kindness, is recommended.

A very good address in Marrakech, excellent.

When we arrived around midday, the staff didn't seem very welcoming as if we had woken them from a nap. They were later very helpful and went out of their way on many occasions. The food was excellent (breakfast and dinner). The Riad was very well decorated and the room was comfortable. We were on the ground floor and the noise was not a problem as it can be in some riads. One problem is that we think the maid took some clothing items. We were not 100% sure so did not say anything to the staff.

Could be Excellent But...

We visited this Riad just to shop for Joanna Bristow jewelery as they stock it in their boutique. Whilst there we had a look around and it was very impressive. Certainly worth considering if you're visiting Marrakech. If you're looking for Joanna Bristow jewelery then this is the place.

I found Riad Des Orangers onliıne through an Expedia booking. The room was beautifully decorated with all sorts of amazing delights you can find in the souks. The owner and his wife made us feel like family. Breakfast was great and plenty for starting the day. The main square as with all the Riads is a bit of an adventure to find at first but you soon know the beaten path. Ask for a beer and sit on the sundeck for a fantastic vacation feel. We will be sure to return on our next visit!
