Hotel that I can't place clearly in the middle of the marakesh medina is luxury especially for the price but you can stay only one night also because dirty and cold very good breakfast made to measure for all the people staying

But...

-small dark dirty rooms - questionable business practices of the host -WLAN unusable -bad breakfast -unwashed bed linen -smooth in the bathroom -desolate condition -unsuitable to recommend

It's horrible.

For the price you can't dream of better, very quiet riad, a little old but very clean, personal with little care, very good breakfast, impeccable Wi-Fi connection. If you are looking for authenticity, and proximity to the heart of the city, I highly recommend this Riad. Looking forward to coming back another time!

Very good price ratio

On arrival at the hotel we were asked to pay the full amont for our stay, in cash, this we duly did. We were then shown to our room and immediately overcome with a nasty smell and the overall dirtiness. We asked the receptionist to cange rooms and were told another would be ready in an hour. We therefore visited a local coffee shop to wait. While waiting however we both agreed that it was extremely unlikely that any different room would be significantly better and therefore to cancel. We returned to the hotel and advised the receptionist of our decision. He spoke with the owner and then informed us that, as we had paid, the hotel's booking conditions were not to offer any refund. This despite the fact that our printed confirmation clearly stated only a part loss of monies would be applicable. There were no hotel booking conditions on display and so we asked to see a copy of them, the receptionship was unable to supply them and refused to refund our monies due. While we accept that this is a " budget " property, there is no excuse for uncleanliness and a blatant disregard for booking conditions.

READ BEFORE YOU BOOK !

We arrive at the riad a little overwhelmed by people who offer to give you a guided tour and want to charge for it, and the truth is that the door to the site is quite hidden at the end of a alley. However, the riad is nice. There is a guy who is always there to help you if you need anything, and calls the boss for the check-in. The manager is very kind and helpful, and seems really concerned that his guests have a good experience. They offer you welcome tea. The rooms are simple but comfortable. The only thing is that it is impossible to shower without soaking the bathroom floor, but it is a common problem in many Moroccan hotels. The location is fine, within the most touristic areas but a certain distance from the bar you can eat in places that you do not want to serve. The hotel offers a good quality tea, but also offers a good coffee, but also a good coffee, butter, butter, butter, butter, and butter.

Thankful surprise.

The director of the Riyadh is very kind, he helped us in everything he could and that's to be thankful in a city like Marrakech. And the Riyadh, it has no luxuries, it's very simple, the room has a bed and a bathroom. And all of them (I think three in total) and the central courtyard at different heights. It's comfortable and familiar, it's very charming. Recommendable in terms of price quality and it's located near the zoco (15 min) but away from the noise and the tourist bustle. We have rich food stalls in the square next door that eat for two and a half euros, and a bakery on the street of very, very cheap.

 Cozy and familiar.

The truth is that I was inside the medina but I was far from the plaza fna and pretty much hidden. Dangerous to go out at night with girls alone. Besides the fact that the receptionist was often not at the hostel. Although they were very kind. There was no dining service and the wifi was pretty slow.

Far away and with little security.

We have been here for 5 days, we recommend using the airport linking service they offer because not everyone knows this riad or the road. We had the only room on the top floor, Spartan furnishings:bed and aperture, no closet or closet, raw walls and bathroom with unflattered shower, directly on the floor. The location is very convenient, in a short time you get to the main square. Younes is very available is always kind, the breakfast lady is also.

They share.

The two main positives this hotel offers is the location within the Medina and the host Yunus who is very friendly and provides expert knowledge on any questions you have.  If you are travelling to Morocco for the first time in particular, a place like this is invaluable because of the first hand service from the host you receive for all the questions and concerns you have about the city, how to get places, etc.

As for the room it is very minimalist, small and provides no amenities. The room has a smell to it, as does the bathroom. The sheets and towels are worn and don't feel all that clean. There is little space to put your luggage and belongings. 

If you decide to stay at this Riad, you are not staying there for the actual room as it is quite antiquated, but you are staying there for the value, location and the host.

As a caution, if you do decide to stay at this Riad, keep in mind it is in the Medina which means you will be bothered by random people whether it's sellers or beggars. In fact, around the corner from the Riad I was approached by two older men who told me the alley way I was walking on is closed up ahead and to wait in there room. They even tried to veer my direction of walking towards their doorway. Of course, I shunned them and proceeded about my way. This shouldn't dissuade you from staying at the Riad, it's something you may across anywhere in the Medina, just be conscious of your surroundings and use common sense.

Decent Place to Stay on a Tight Budget

My partner is a Muslim, with a Moroccan passport and I am Spanish, no we were allowed to sleep in the same room and for colmo because we did not pay for the stay of 5 days the same night x no dirham x we kept q going to change.. we retained the passports.. so we cancelled the booking the next day we went to the karmanda riad in which we could sleep together, the dirty bathroom i olia fatal to rot.. pesimo
