The photos on Tripadvisor show a beautiful villa. We were expecting this to be the booked accommodation. We were really looking forward to it. When we arrived, however, we were accommodated in a garage farm. The setup is very simple. The bathroom is primitive in relation to the bathroom shown in the photos. Both this farm and the villa have no heating. It was so cold in the farm that we couldn't stay in the room, but only in the bed. Of the two heat sinks, the only way to generate at least some heat worked, only one. Conclusion: not once.

Deceptive presentation of accommodation

We've been coming to Swakopmund for years and Villa Sohrada is a must! We prefer the sloppy apartment, small but fine! The villa you must like, but a huge real villa, and also decorated accordingly. Place without end with fireplace. Price performance ratio absolutely great! Super host, all very friendly! Safe location in Swakopmund without high fence!

One of the best places to stay in Swakopmund!

We were lucky enough to have the villa for ourselves. It is fully equipped and you don't have to miss anything. Only the wire could be a little faster and more stable. The hosts are very nice and extremely hardworking. We felt very comfortable.

Very nice stay.

It's hard to imagine a better apartment with a bathroom and kitchen, central, indoor parking, hot water, excellent Wi-Fi, available and discreet owners, perfect and recommended for a stopover in Swak.

It's perfect.

It's a pity just one night's stay, a villa all to ourselves, three floors with all the amenities you want, a huge kitchen, a pool room, and everything furnished in African style including leather, the owner an essential, precise person, a German, excellent wifi parking, but unfortunately no breakfast, but everything necessary to organize.

A wonderful place to relax and visit the Skeleton Coast

We had all the accommodation for ourselves. The house alone is totally impressive and you feel like you're transported back to colonial times. The area is very quiet and you feel absolutely comfortable (and safe). There's a mall that can be reached on foot. The hosts are very helpful and are always available with advice and action. We felt super comfortable and sad when we had to leave.

Great place to stay

We stayed three nights in this beautiful villa and we found ourselves very well (for us it was gigantic....). The apartment was all at our disposal, on several floors, with many rooms, all well furnished and absolutely scenographic. Well-groomed bathrooms and very large, beautiful outdoor area with garden.....what to say?!?!?!!?? Surely an excellent choice from every point of view.

Absolutely unmissable

We spent four nights in the little apartement at Villa Sohrada and enjoyed it very much! The ouside stoep and braai area is very handy for self catering. Coffe, tea, milk, sugar and biscuits await you upon arrival. Very helpfull owners with lots of suggestions what to do!

Cozy holliday flat

We stayed in this accommodation for 2 days together. The hosts are absolutely super nice and helpful. 👍👍👍 The room with bathroom and kitchen lines was very clean and comfortable, only the toilet situation (very loud) was a little strange but still fine. Even grilling is possible here without any problem! 😊

Super host, clean accommodation

We stayed in Swakop for three nights and decided on the Villa Sohrada. It is a house where a bedroom upstairs including bathroom and a bedroom downstairs including bathroom are temporarily rented. Full-equipped kitchen and living room are shared. However, we were the only guests at the time, so we had the whole house for ourselves. Everything was very generous and clean and there was nothing missing. However, you need a car because the villa is located at the opposite end of downtown. There is a shopping center and a few restaurants within walking distance. The guests who live in the adjacent house are very generous and helpful. So we were ready to call directly to the Swakhivi villa, which was a safe place to stay if you could recommend to call us in a nearby villa.
