The customer service of Tanja is unacceptable.
I had booked a place and had to cancel because of the first Covid outbreak.
She said she would refund me and I have been following with her for the past two years and I still havent seen a penny.

Most times, she will not answer the email and the few times she did, she got weirdly aggressive about my questionning her professionalism and gave me all sorts of personal excuses (her family going through Covid, etc.). I have been patient and told her that it could wait until her family troubles were through and then I tried to follow up with her, but she is just not answering the email at this point.
I am not sure what is going on still.

What I do know is that:
1. She’s decided to keep my money against my will.
2. She doesn’t answer any email (no customer service)
3. When she does, she does not treat me like a client but rather like someone who annoys her even though shes got personal family problems. I have had my own personal issues through Covid, losing my grandmother to it. I would have never used that excuse to tell off a client.

It’s been over two years and I know that that was all an act to keep my money.
Very disingenuous and deeply unprofessional,

Dishonest customer service

What a wonderful stay we had in Colors in De Pijp / B&B Colours over the New Year Period. From start to finish Tanja couldn’t have been more helpful. Great directions and a lovely welcome with loads of tips on where to eat and the like. The yellow room is spacious, bright and inviting with a very usable balcony overlooking private gardens. The small kitchen is great for a coffee and chilling some beers and wine. Separate private shower/ wc. Yes the stairs to the entrance are steep but that’s not a problem in my opinion. An unbelievably great place to stay is a very nice area with plenty of places to eat, drink. Loads of supermarkets and artisan delis and bakeries. Fabulous, absolutely fabulous.

Yellow Room Bliss

If you can cope with the (very) steep stairs, this is an unbeatable place to stay. The rooms are massive, it's like having your own apartment. It's a nice area, with plenty to do and a park nearby. Only a short 10 minute bike ride (if that) into the heart of Amsterdam. Do try the Sourdough Pizza place nearby - you won't regret it.
The owner is lovely lovely and very very helpful. Superb value in an expensive-to-stay city.

Colours in de Pijp is located in the trendy district of Pijp. There are also 5 large cafes and restaurants and a market in the immediate vicinity. We have spent a lot of time in the beautiful breakfast locations and we have had a lot of time at the souvenir shop on the market to recommend everything. The kitchen in the B&B we have not used and can not say anything about the completeness of the equipment. The B&B does not offer breakfast, but there are 5 large nice rooms. The rooms are located in 2 houses, the No. 12 and 14 of the Tweede Jan van de Heerenstraat. We had the Garden Room in the No. 12 of the Heerenstraat, which offers a very nice bathroom and a very old bathroom, but there is a very long bathroom with two bathrooms, but there is a full bathroom with two bathrooms and a full bathroom. There is also a restaurant located in Amsterdam. If you want to stay in the Green Room, you will have to go out of your own bathroom, but if you want to go out of your own bathroom and the first bathroom, you will have to go

We felt very well

A wonderful part of the city, the Grand Hostel and the building, although the title is Bed and Breakfast (B&B), there is no breakfast, it is close to everything you need in Amsterdam, but if you are over a certain age, the stairs are deadly.

Cant wait to visit again! Tanja is a lovely host, so nice and welcoming! The apartment is absolutely amazing, clean, chic. The neighborhood is hip and quiet, central and lots if cafes restaurants etc. Highly recommended!

Just perfect!

We stayed for 4 days in Colors and it was an absolute success. Tanja a charm and the great situation. Nothing more to arrive explained a little about the neighborhood (Pijp) and Amsterdam in general. It is next to Albert Cuyp (market) and the city center walking about 15 minutes, a very quiet neighborhood and with a good park 15 meters from the entrance (accept pets).

A great deal of progress has been made.

Apartment not central, but very close to the kuyp market...beautiful, large, clean, equipped kitchen is provided for breakfast...in a few words...comfortable.

That's great!

The yellow room is large, beautiful and cozy, with a terrace where you can sit down and get some refreshment. The bed is huge and comfortable. To put a pinch, to access the private bathroom, you have to access the hallway, which is common for 2 rooms and that leaves a little privacy. But well, the bathroom door is in front of the room, you only have to cross a meter in albornoz. It has a private garage for you, about 200 meters from the B&B, for 10 days. Although it does not offer breakfast, it has a small office where you can make a coffee and have a couple of cups at any time of the day, very well. Very well located. The De Pijp bar is a guest house. Nearby the Albert Kuip market (BOMB) is the place where you can rest.
