We only spent 10minutes inside, we got a room in the basement, all walls were covered with dirt, mold and spiderwebs. Two of four lights were also defect. By the way emergency exit leads to a locked metaldoor... 

Such a 'hotel' should be closed!!!

It's a dirty hotel with dirty walls, the room full of dust, dirty towels and broken windows that we had to put on towels so the cold wouldn't come in, the bathroom, no comments, dirty and with mold on the ceiling.

The booking was made by my friend and included 2 nights at Hotel Alfa in Amsterdam for 5 guests (
My friend was supposed to arrive by midnight, while the other guests at 2 PM.
When I arrived to the hotel accompanied with 2 other guests, WE were immediately refused. The girl at the reception was really mean, disrespectful and insisted that my friend that did the booking should be present in order to get the room (although the room was already entirely paid and ready). She didn’t give any other solution (Although I proposed my ID and credit card as a guarantee).
I tried to explain her that it was impossible since my friend is arriving only by midnight and we really need the room (37°c outside). She didn’t propose any solution to us, as clients. Only after long time I suggested that my friend would send an authorization directly to her so the other guests would be able to get the room. She accepted that and we were wondering why she didn’t propose it from the beginning and caused a very nervous and uncomfortable situation. This is not the way clients should be treated. She also said that I was poorly educated. This is not the way a client is treated
We are talking about a 1-star hostel that actually costs 300 euro/ a night, with common broken toilets and mice all over.
We passed a terrible stay over day, from the beginning till the end of our stay.

Awful dirty hotel with mean staff

We had booked a room of 5. As soon as we arrived we saw the first problems:  the smell in the reception - the stairs and the labelled walls - debris on the ground On arriving in our room, we noticed that the windows can't close, with a sign  do not touch the Window , so we had the noise all night long. The walls are dirty with mold. We asked for the first time to wash the bathroom because there was paper and a bag of bags all over the floor. When we got back, it was a little better, but starting from there we couldn't hope that it was at a minimum. There was also a huge stain of the window at the end of every month.

Horrible hotel ran away

I stay with my son for 2 nights, the hotel does not clean, does not change towels, does not replace anything, does not even make the bed, it is dirty and the room is very small, it is difficult to move in it, the bathroom door has a hole that makes it ventilate into the room, moreover, the view gives an egg where it is very dirty and with doves that do not stop sleeping, plus it is very expensive for the little it offers.

We went to Amsterdam, to have a nice break as my wife and I could do with some quality time together, I recently suffered a stroke and this break was supposed to be part of my rehab, well we got to the hotel and i nearly had another stroke, dirty, dirty dirty, prices you change should mean that you can at least CLEAN the place, one word to sum hotel Alfa is DIRTY !!!

To be fair, this is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in to date

WHATEVER YOU DO, NEVER STAY HERE!!! This property is by far the worst accommodation I have encountered across a year of backpacking every weekend throughout Europe. There was the smell of mold throughout the room and bathroom as well as actual mold on the wall and bed sheets. Additionally, the paint on some of the wall was peeling while on other sections, graffiti was haphazardly painted over. Furthermore, the lamp and night stand were both broken and absolutely filthy. 

The owner is also extremely rude and repeatedly insulted and harassed me over email when I had messaged him about the room. This man runs a con on unwitting travelers. Do yourself a favor and please stay somewhere else. 

All around, the room and the property were so disgusting that I could not stay there and had to book a last minute stay elsewhere. I’ve dealt with seedy and dirty hostels in the past but this place literally looked like a run down crack house.

A hotel that's only good is the downtown area and its receptionists are very kind. Really if you can stay elsewhere better look for that other option. We went to spend the day of the king alki, two nights and the truth is in very bad condition. So the charge is not even a hotel. Rather it looks like a motel of a very bad category. We were told that they are going to remodel it, but I don't think they should offer it like this. Besides, the bill they give you isn't even a bill, that looks like a witch business.

The worst structure we've ever been to: a horrible, tiny room with a falling down tub, garbage under the bed, dirt, decaying furniture (no closet, only 3 shelves perhaps regenerated from the undifferentiated), lenses never changed, only a towel to the head for the entire stay, a shower that broke down, a kind of animal shell, no tendon or a lake on the ground, strong advice to buy the bathtub, chr does not exist, and to put the cupcakes in), room never cleaned all over the living room, with a redundant basket, on a dirty cupcakes, a single reception that slammed in the middle of the night making electric food sobs, and taking the toilet to the kitchen, even if it was working distantly, but not in the next day.

Still alive... survivors!

I stayed in this hotel in April, I think you can't even call it a hotel, no elevator, narrow, steep, loose stairs. reception staff bad.
