The furnishings are very individual and original. The whole house has been restored with great attention to detail. Jaco and Beti are very good hosts and know a lot about their city and surroundings. The location of the house opposite the park is perfect. The surrounding residential area is also beautiful. If you stay longer, it is also worth a trip to Amsterdam. We are very happy to come back.

We were in the nice apartment hotel of Jaco and Beti about the turn of the year.

Very well-designed and ideally located studio! Perfect for a group of friends looking for a bit of peace.. while bringing everything that this country has to the best! Host slightly suspicious and undiscrete when we arrived.. but nevertheless.. very friendly and helpful! The only very negative point: We had made it very clear at the time of booking that we were accompanied by a disabled person (which means in a wheelchair.. so totally unable to market).. and bad surprise.. the host was supposedly unaware.. of any suitable equipment.. which made the weekend a little more complicated.. and also frustrating for our friend!!

Satisfying

The house is located in a beautiful neighbourhood of Arnheim, directly opposite the park. Very quiet yet centrally located - it was a 10-minute walk to the centre / train station. The apartments were all well equipped and renovated with attention to detail. We were warmly received by the hosts and provided with many helpful tips for the surroundings. In the brassry opposite we ate very tasty. We would always book here again and have a great time.

We spent a weekend with nine people in this beautifully renovated house and felt very comfortable.

This grand house is directly across from a farm-like park (with cows, no less). We stayed in the suite on the main floor that looked out on the park and its enormous water fountain. The suite was originally the living room and dining room for the house and there were beautiful fireplaces in both rooms.

The bathroom situation is a bit odd, but charming. There is a small space with a door for the toilet, but the shower and sink are located in the corner of the bedroom with a cloth screen as a separator. There is a sink and refrigerator in the living room. Next to our room was a full kitchen that could be used by all the guests.

Breakfast was cheese, bread, salami, fruit and coffee. Very ample.

Our host, Jaco, was very warm and knowledgeable about the local roads and things to do.

Only complaint: the matrimonial bed is just 2 single beds pushed together. Not very comfortable

Beautiful location.

Character property. Lovely basement apartment with plenty of space for a family of 5. Very friendly and helpful host with excellent English. Opposite beautiful park. Approx 15 minute walk to town. Would highly recommend.

Lovely

This beautiful old home has been renovated into several nicely appointed and decorated mini-apartments, which rent at a very reasonable price, particularly if your stay is a bit longer.  The beds (even the pull-out sofa beds) are very comfortable -- one had automatic controls to raise and lower the mattress.  And this is the very first European hostelry we have ever stayed at which provided face cloths -- very cute terry bath mitts.

The host is most helpful and accommodating.  He is a font of information about the area.  The location is great -- right across from Sonsbeek Park and within walking distance of a supermarket, the station and several restaurants.  Easy driving distance to major area attractions like the Openlucht Museum and Kroller-Muller Museum and national park.   We had no trouble finding free street parking for overnight and Jaco provided a parking permit for short term parking during the day. 

Let Jaco provide breakfast -- he puts out a great spread of eggs, meats, cheeses, spreads and breads, plus coffee, milk and juice for just €5 per person.  (You do need to clean up after yourself though.)

Marvelous host!

The house is clean and tidy, the hosts are friendly and open-minded, they speak several languages and have good tips for travelers. I was able to visit all the apartments and was surprised at what you can do with an old building. I would love to live in such a thing myself.

Friendly and welcoming hosts, stylish ambience.

Beautifully renovated villa with a lot of taste and meticulousness. Ideally located. The hosts Jaco and Beti are charming and very attentive. Very pleasant and impeccable room, well equipped. In short, to recommend!

It's perfect.

It's a great house. It's very renovated. It's not very cheap, but if you can get away with old architecture with modern comforts and great parking, you'll be able to get your money's worth.

It's highly recommended.

We spent two nights at the caring hosts at a stop along the way. City Apartment 2 was perfect for us with three children. It was convenient and yet elegantly decorated. The accommodation conveys the creativity and love of detail that helped with the design and decoration here. Who would have thought that the densely populated Netherlands offers such a lovely nature. We were absolutely thrilled. An interesting mixture of culture (Kröller-Müller Museum) and landscape park (Hoge Veluwe) can be explored by bicycle. We were thrilled and will definitely come by again.
