It was actually an unplanned stay, but it was so great that we definitely came back. Super breakfast, extremely nice hosts, and even a free boat ride. Unfortunately, it's pretty far away from us.

Highly recommended

We came with my husband and his mother. We vinded with internet.they have really high point and i believe they really hard workers.
We stay with my husband nummer 2. This room is in de rivier. My schoonmoeder stayed upstairs. She doesnt have balcoon but doesnt matter. 
The douche and wc are not in de room. This is little bit difficult but not so big problem
Owners are really nice people


We like really much here

Simple, very clean, overlooking the canal. Bedrooms and towels available to customers. The toilet is common, each room has a sink. At the customers' disposal is the kitchen, the refrigerator, a dishwasher. The owners are really kind and very available. Breakfast is abundant. Workum is a quiet village and is a great starting point for visiting Friesland.

It's a welcoming place for both the structure and the owners.

We had booked a small room, but considering that we were the only ones in the guesthouse at the same price, he offered us a more spacious room (the little ones are really tiny) without costing the price (they cost more), a very functional common kitchen, common bathrooms, very clean, if you want to do the sauna costs 18.00 euros, a very clean bedroom, excellent sleep quality, but we were alone, the separation walls are thin, so you can definitely hear the noise from the neighbors, but they offered us free earplugs, just in case.

It's perfect.

The accommodation is very cozy. It's right by the canal with barbecue and cooking facilities. The breakfast is in the owners' living room and is very good. You actually get everything you need about sausage, cheese, egg and much more...and of course chocolate chips.:-) The kitchen for the guests is large and very well equipped. The location is nice quiet and a little outside the city center, but you're there in 5 minutes on foot. I've been here before and it's always nice. The rooms are a little small, but since we only sleep in them, it doesn't matter. Martin, the boss, is actually always in the area and very helpful.

Top accommodation, nothing for typical five-star hotel guests

It's the second time we've stayed here for a few days. The boarding house is cheap but offers everything you need! Everything is very clean and is cleaned every day, the kitchen is well equipped, if necessary breakfast can be booked, there is a barbecue on the terrace and besides, canoes and bicycles can be rented. Furthermore, the B&B has a sauna. Some of the rooms are right by a canal and it separates you only a short walk from the water. The hosts are helpful and friendly. The only contra is that the rooms are bright for you.

Cozy B&B with great additions

We arrived at this B&B after reccomandation by friends of the owners. Pricing is very moderate, so don't expect anything fancy. It appears tot be mainly a group accomodation for self caterers. Reminded me of our fraternity trips when i was a student.The living room is funished with garden chairs. The bathrooms are shared, like on a camping. No outside window in our room, bedsheets were fashionabe in the 1980's ( although clean). Small but plenty towels, and bathrobes in the room which had a cigarette smell. Beds were good. Room was small. The place was clean. So we got what we payed for. 

Typical group accomodation

Rooms here are basic but with comfortable beds, and although bathroom facilities are shared, there are enough so you don't have to wait long.  Breakfast was served in their bright dining room and had plenty of variety. Service is friendly and helpful with our group of 10 getting our clothes washed and dried by the owner. Although the view across the canal isn't over-inspiring, it is nice to be by the water with boats motoring by.  Shared kitchen facilities and dining tables are adequate and there is a lovely outdoor area and BBQ.

Great spot and tasty breakfast

We had a wonderful stay here,it was out home away from home. The owners were extremely hospitable. The premises was spotless in a bat location along the canal, you can watch the boats go by from your bedroom if you get a room along the canal. Breakfast had a vast variety of choices, it's not included in the price. Bikes can be rented here to explore the area further, The owners really go out of their way to make sure one has an enjoyable time here. The BBQ area is really lovely to hang out at. The kitchen is fully functionable and the whole building is spotless, I would stay here for sure when I return.

Perfect hosts,great bed and breakfast

Stayed there one night with my girlfriend. Owners very serviceminded. We got a uppgrade to a better room. Its cheap and clean. The downside are the toilet who arent in the room. But we would definitly stay here again!
