A warm welcome in a country house, all the advantages of a business hotel... the pleasure and relaxation in addition. The master of the place likes to talk in French and will put himself in a position to satisfy you.

It's like home.

Try to avoid this place. I got a room on the fourth floor and the air inside the room was terrible when i first opened the door.  This hotel does not seem to have a functioning HVAC system. so when the sun is shining the inside of the hotel becomes like an oven. I got two 75cm mattresses, but had to tie them together with cableties from work because the beds did not stay together and the hotel is to cheap to by a 150cm top mattress. None of the rooms have fridges or minibars. But they have the furniture for it  when it comes to furniture the is not enough furniture for storing clothing so you will be living in your suitcase... I got a small tv in my room that was maybe 23 inches. The bathroom door had what looks like someone punched a hole in it... Considering this hotel is way to hot with poor indoor climate you might want some icecubes... This was impossible for the hotel to supply as even the bars icemachine was broken..  My window was also broken. the latch that allows you to lock the window in open position was broken. So keep it locked or open slamming into the wall in the wind.. A big stain that looked like cum was also found on the drapes... Cleaning is also not theit biggest priority. I found empty bottles and nuts from the previous guest... This is usually a hotel people live at because of a nearby worksituation. This is not a hotel chosen by people with a choice...

Once you enter that aroma you smell LUJO imposing lobby Divine rooms beautiful spacious clean personal suites perfectly The breakfast and the fantastic prices agree Tacaños abstinence!!!!!

Lujo is a good one.

Not a chain member. Family owned. Westland Hotel, some 20 mins drive from Knarvik, is cheaper. This is mostly used by guest workers at the Mongstad oil refinery. Empty reception; a phone is set up for calling personnel. No problem. Found a long black hair on bath towel. No shelf place in bathroom for personal belongings. Empty walls in room except one mirror. Wall-to-wall carpet. Furniture from several decades back. Stone-age tube TV with wrong colors. No extra pillows. A dozen clothes hangers. Wanted to see the ESC, I was the only one in the bar. Maybe that was the reason I was offered free peanuts? Basic breakfast, 14-15 guests on a Sunday morning. (And Monday)

Still quiet

Stayed here on Business, a little bit dated, but that is the charm. Busy hotel in the summer but quiet this time of year with business travellers only.

Rooms are warm & comfortable and Wi-fi is good. Restaurant has a few choices but the quality is great. Go with the flow and look at the scenery!

Lovely quiet hotel

Received with evening meal of fresh cod and tasty accompaniments, our very comfortable room was beautifully furnished, leaving us rested in wonderful country and marine surroundings.The Alver Hotel located by the 'Green Island' Radøy, with excellent opportunities to visit the Western Norway Immigrant Center's 4th July / Emigration Festival!

Charmingly friendly Atmosphere

The hotel looks more like a bad youth hostel! construction workers in the hotel restaurant with totally dirty work clothes. Morning construction workers on the chair and lunch a very bad bridal couple!!!

There is no hotel!

Good for the job, good Wi-Fi in the room... discrete breakfast as a choice and abundant but the restaurant in the evening had few choices. All in all it's fine. I can't tell if the quality/price ratio was valid as it paid the customer.

A quiet hotel up the hill from Alverflatten. The local bus stop is 5 mins walk down the hill at Alverflatten Nord. In the winter the hotel seems mainly to be used for conferences and local workers. There is very little around the hotel or in the local area, the nearest supermarket is 20 mins walk down the hill.
Rooms are comfortable some have minibars, some have baths. The hotel restaurant/bar is usually quiet in winter but the food is very good with generous and tasty portions. A pretty standard Norwegian hotel breakfast is included.

Quiet Hotel

Nice hotel but which for the price does not have any special features and especially not a beautiful view. on the other hand this hotel is located in a very quiet place. rather spacious rooms and comfortable bed. friendly and welcoming staff.
