When you call Nisser Hyttegrend og Camping in Fjone you are kindly treated.
Evidently because the prices are exaggerated and aware that the quality does not all live up to it. 
After getting the keys and opening the accommodation, i was met by a claustophobic space with dirty and worn-out decor with small and tight beds and horrible pillows. Inside temperature was same minus degrees as outside.
I got a small fan that can not contribute with any warm because the door to the cabins are not isolated and you can lock out through the door sides.
It is absolutely incredible that they rent out something in this state. I had by then paid 1,200 NOK for two nights.
Then i got the big cabin with a discount 1000 NOK per night. 
Here I was met by a so-called handicap toilet whose armrests were unscrewed and fell off over me. Nails in the tree walls are not visible which can harm you.
There is a heating control in the hall that does not work. So no heat in the bathroom and no heating element in the living room either.
There is a really small electrical heating element in the bedroom which I put on full heat but it does not reach far.
Frying pans and pots are totally worn and disgusting. I laid in bed with all my clothes on to get some warmth. So uncomfortable.
The cabins are close to the street, so any cars or tractors passing by feels like they're driving right through your bed.
You deserve better than that! So, avoid this place. I left after one uncomfortable stay and a sleepless night.

NOT RECOMMENDED

I have been to this place since 1993 so I am very attached to the place. My parents have a caravan here on regular stay. We usually rent the 6 person cabin for a week. It is close to the water and you have a row boat available during your stay. We use an electric motor and a battery which we bring from home. Nature and scenery is beautiful and the water is crystal clear. This summer we had like 22-23 degrees Celcius in the water! Lots of sandy beaches. 

Staff is very friendly and you can buy some candy and groceries at the place. Nearest town is Treungen which is a app. 20 min drive. WiFi is free, but not very fast or reliable. I used my cell phone and 4G most of the time. Lots of different cabins to rent or you can bring you own tent, caravan etc.

There are also lot of trips and hikes and I highly recommend taking a trip to «Jettegrytene». Search for it and you will know what I mean. 😊

Paradise on earth!

I ran Telemarks tøffaste in 2014 and my mother and I slept in one of the cabins on the cabin it was a nice cabin but not so clean and the was a tiny fridge in the cabin which made a lot of noise so if you can't sleep with noise this is not a cabin that you want to rent.
