The Hotel im Park lives by its special location on a beautiful Masurian lake, its flair and the very special atmosphere that radiates from the castle park, the main house and the adjacent buildings. At the moment when you drive the entrance, you feel like you're being pushed back into the old East Prussia. I want to mention the staff at the restaurant in a particularly positive way: the staff is very exhausted & staffed and the quality of the food is excluded. To a detriment of the overall pressure, especially the pressure of the early arrivals, which is much less than the demands of the early arrivals due to the lack of staff, with the return of the early arrivals of the guests.

It is beautifully situated, but unfortunately there are significant deficits in breakfast and in the furnishings of the room.

Attentive and friendly staff. Quick and easy check-in and check-out. Great parking space in complete quiet with direct connection to the lake. Very clean rooms. And incredibly good food at the restaurant!! The only thing I didn't like was that the beds were too hard for me.

A wonderful, relaxing stay

The good thing is that this hotel is beautifully situated by the lake, the outdoor facilities are very well maintained, the hotel restaurant offers very good local cuisine with international influences, an idyllic area with a lot of nature. Unfortunately, the rooms have not been renovated for a long time, they are also very bright - if someone runs water in the middle of the night, everyone gets it.

Very nice area, rooms in need of renovation

The hotel is by far the most beautiful in the whole area. The previous owner who revived the villa here has done a great job. A dreamlike property with a well-kept Gutshof-type property, its own boat ramp, an exceptionally good restaurant and many beautiful places to stay. We spent wonderful relaxed days there as a family, we lacked nothing! We would have liked to have stayed on this very special spot of land, but we will definitely come back! Absolutely recommended <3

A Wonderful Place on Earth

We were more than happy at the beautiful charming Hotel im Park. No, we were totally thrilled by the hospitality of the staff. Everyone, really everyone was so nice and warm, the restaurant is so good with Masurian specialties that we didn’t even want to go anywhere else one night (of five), which means a lot knowing us ;-)
Rooms were comfortable cozy and absolutely nice. The access to the beautiful lake was inviting all day. Breakfast from 8-10.30 is a huge variety of anything you can expect, with local food offers.
A dreamy place to totally relax (quietness!!!) and lay back in nature. We sure will return soon. 

A Masurian Dream

In the last 20 years or so, the rooms have been constantly improving, but now we are living off the substance. The rooms have some youth hostel levels, the beds are crowded, there is simply a lack of detail. Night locker rooms, for example, lack of display. The really very comfortable basement bar has been closed for several years - for whatever reason. Service overall is rather poor. The park is really very natural and therefore urgently in need of care. The change of ownership (?) has obviously not brought anything serious positive.

It needs renovation.

We were here for the sixth time. The greeting seemed quite impersonal. There is simply a lack of a face! The rooms are individually and different in terms of construction, but there is a need for basic renovation. It smells! The kitchen is neat, the breakfast rich and landscaped. The staff is friendly but not really professional and present. Ultimately, the hotel benefits from its unique location and historic atmosphere.

Coming into the years

We had a great time here for the fifth time! It's spectacular, you can't find so much relaxation and peace anywhere else. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. Breakfast is very good, everything is lovingly prepared and big flowers are planted. Unfortunately, the hotel is now being sold, and we hope it stays the same.

Let the soul roam in East Prussia

If you like the quiet, this place is for you. It's really in the middle of nowhere. It's also very hard to find. The facilities are old. There's a small beach a few meters long by the lake. You can swim there if you're not cool. The restaurant is excellent.

A little bit down.

We were here for 5 days as the main location for a vacation in southern Missouri and really enjoyed our stay: the hotel is in an idyllic setting and the main house and restaurant are also very nice. An oasis for nature lovers with plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling and paddling (on hotel wheels or kayakes and paddle boats). The food in the restaurant is also really excellent - we used inclusive desserts every day. A round-the-clock vacation! As a small remark, the restaurant unfortunately only opens at 5 a.m. during the week, and there is no easy supply between meals and meals.
