We enjoyed the very tasty food and can only praise the friendly service. The restaurant/hotel is located, hidden somewhat, behind gas stations and parking lots. The search was worthwhile.

It's a lovely restaurant.

The rooms are so nicely decorated, it's a pleasure to stay here every night. Even the breakfast with the stew and the coal stove bacon is delicious and raw. See you next time!

Very good again!

It was my second stay there. I`m stayed there again because my good experience last year. And this time it was not disappointing. Very good location when you by car. Near highway, next to border, gas station and Auchan supermarket next door. So KFC if you like fast food, but restaurant in hotel is also so good. And breakfast there is so delicious. Closed parking area. Rooms are good equipped and very good decorated. Public areas in the building are like a little museums. So many wonderful historic details. Good place to stay when you on the road. 
Wifi was too weak on the second floor. Only few internatiomal TV channels. No view from windows. City centre is a little bit far. But i`m not complaining. It´s the best place when you on the car trip.

Ideal place when you on the road trip

If you stop at the German/Polish border in Zgorzelec, don't miss to come here! The yard of the substitute is a special kind of experience. Almost a museum - restaurant and boarding house. Many, many things you will see here and delight your heart. Delicious food, served quickly by friendly service, which you will enjoy. It is definitely worth a stop!

We stayed for one night, it was original, beautiful, cheap, breakfast was prepared right next to us in a real oven on an open fire, fun, nice, cozy, near Ashan, gas station, two-story room, free parking.

It's an original hotel.

Beautiful oasis in the middle of industrial neighbourhood. I didn't expect that there is so good quality for so little money. Everything was over my expectations. Friendly and helpful English speaking staff, really beautiful historic interior with many little details, quality furniture in room and equipment in bathroom, dishes in restaurant and great breakfast. Especially i liked big closed parking lot. Auchan supermarket, KFC and gas station were near. Zgorzelec and Görlitz city centres were by walking distance. High level of the hotel was a good surprise for me.

Oasis in the industrial suburb

It was discovered by chance, on the way back from Poland to Görlitz, a beautiful, old, renovated school building, very tastefully furnished, excellent cuisine, friendly service, moderate prices, what more do you want?

I want to tell you about the restaurant at the Zagroda Kolodzieja Hotel. We stayed at this nice hotel several times. And I can say that there used to be a very good restaurant there. At the entrance there was always a table with homemade bread and everyone who wanted to get a free salted cucumber from the can, take a loaf of bread, grease it with heated salami and have a very tasty meal while waiting for the order...I liked that the food was prepared at home simple and tasty. At the hotel lived a large dog and he was. The dog usually lay in the room and it was warm and warm. And that was very interesting - he always chose a male cat, he could talk to one of them and get some bread... By the way, there were two Russian cats in the room... and then I could tell the other cat... and the other cat... and the other cat... and the other cat... and the other cat... and then I could just go out and go out of the room, but then there was a lot of room and then there was no room, and then there was no room and then there was no room. But then there was a lot of

Disappointed...

We stayed in this place by chance, on our way to Switzerland. Despite the fact we were there late (about 22) they offered us warm supper a la carte. They just asked us to call 30 minutes before and order, and then the kitchen (usually closed at 22) would have time to prepare it. 
We choose pierogi ruskie (dumplings) and borsch. Delicious!
And there was a great Lviv music all around. 
We stayed overnight in a very comfortable room - plenty space, big clean bathroom. 
In the morning we were offered buffet breakfast plus warm sausages and scrambled eggs. The staff was very nice, helpful, smiled and open. 
As this is relatively new place, I keep my fingers crossed for their development. We need such places! 
Go there. Eat there. Stay there.
