Having booked, we couldn't find it and walked up and down the worst street in Coimbra four times, asking people where it was. Eventually, we stopped for a coffee and showed the waitress the confirmation note. She didn't know it, but said it must be close as it was no.17 and the coffee shop was 3-5. I went to look and discovered it is the same as HOTEL OSLO. Very nice. We liked it and upgraded to a more expensive room. I just don't understand why they pretend that Residence Aeminium exists. It doesn't. It's the Hotel Oslo!

Very difficult to find!

The hotel is located on the main street but still very quiet.  The staff is very helpful and even provides the parking service without surcharge, which is really convenient in Coimbra.  
The room is not big, but good enough for a short stay.  Clean, neat and comfortable.  But it shows another hotel name with hotel Oslo, which might be confusing to the guests that can't really see the Aeminum...
The breakfast is good, with excellent view to the old town.

Interesting experience

We stayed in Coimbra for one night only. The hotel is within walking distance of the centre, easily accessible by car. Please note that you must look for the hotel Oslo sign. It has free parking separately from the hotel but it is the staff who moves the car. We had a spacious living room, as well as the bathroom, with laundry and soap.

Great (actually the hotel is called Oslo)

This hotel is simply perfect.The location is ideal and the treatment is excellent.We were shown two types of rooms to choose from, we parked the car in the parking lot next door for free and we were recommended routes through the city.We recommend this hotel 100%.Currently the hotel is being renovated.The renovated rooms are a 4/5 star hotel.

Thankful surprise.

On arrival they told us that the cost of accommodation had to be in cash, even though the reservation was made via the internet and a deposit was made on a no-account basis; however, on the other hand, not if that is entirely legal; they told us that our reservation was a blank paper format; they did not have that hanging and they played with their relationship with the hotel Oslo (door to door).The prepotent attitude and chulesca of this man who spoke to us in Portuguese constantly when he could do it in Castilian, so we learned the idima) accompanied by unelegant gestures, appropriate for his job.From the moment I met him, I chose to always address my partner.The truth is that this man supported me.

The receptionist was to blame.

This residential, which coexists inside the hotel Oslo, offers very small, indeed tiny double rooms made from the hotel's cabinets! it was so small that as soon as you entered you would find yourself directly on the double bed that occupies the whole room, but all! except the photos that the official website proposes! and the suitcases? closed and placed vertically otherwise you would not even enter!!! Let's not even talk about the air conditioner and its hellish noise and that of the air conditioners of the other rooms that didn't make us all sleep at night...
