We stayed for two days and it was really bad. We arrived at 11:50 p.m. there was light at the window but we had to wait at least 45 minutes before someone opened us. The premises are unsanitary, there is too much dust under the bed, the bed linen is completely broken and it's off the ground, furniture room, kitchen very room too, we even found a stink in the kitchen cabinet where there is food with in addition to handkerchiefs and some kind of butterfly... the insulation is really bad.

It's bad.

It's a total disaster. It doesn't deserve the score it has. On arrival, the owner alone gave us the keys, the entrance code and little information about the house. Two shared bathrooms, yes, always full and dirty. If you had hot water and pressure in the MILAGRO shower. The closet, it was so dirty that I left my black suitcase and came out full of dust, imagine the clothes... There were no curtains in the room, a first floor and at night, voices and noise whatever you want and more... The owners were more scandalous than the cars on the street.

Disastrous for them.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed because the rooms reserved and the neighbourhood were not at all what we expected. These are rooms in the dwelling whose hygiene is not at the rdv, the comfort limit despite a very nice bed, no blinds, day under the window, noise from the street. However, we want to emphasize the kindness of our host. We booked for five days, we left the next day... The photos are not revealing the reality.

Disappointed.

Myself and two friends stayed here for two nights. By the end we wished we had booked a third! Great service from the hostess (can not remember her name), as we had an early arrival into Lisbon we were allowed to leave our bags in the hostel till check-in. 
Bisengototo is located in a fantastic area with a cheap supermarket just over the road and plenty of restaurants (Portofino Italian) and cheap cafes nearby. Took us only 25-30 minutes to walk into the centre unless we took the cheap and accessible metro. 
The amenities in our room far surpassed what we expected for a hostel. Nicely decorated, well-maintained with a television and mini fridge. 
Without a doubt, we would highly recommend Bisengototo and we will be back for sure!

100% a return holiday destination!

Very, very dirty. Kitchen with broken drawers. Dirty bathroom. Spotted couch, I ask to change it, the answer is no. The person tells me that it's the fault of the laundry and that there's the lid anyway. I think I'm dreaming. Plenty of laundry at the front desk. In one of the rooms it was a real battlefield. It's really theft. Beware of photos they're misleading. We booked for four nights but we didn't stay. How can you dare rent places like this they should be ashamed of.

Running away

The hostel is an apartment with different rooms with shared bathrooms which are the lake Ness as some people don't know how to do it,Ana is very nice and nice helped us find parking near the Hostel,she laughed at everything,she has a son who looks like Carlos Jean de pequeño is all day broadcasting some strange alaridos similar to those of the berrea.Ana provided us with water and cleaned the room every day (although it continues to go around everything).How disadvantageous, no one can cook and the location is not the best.The beds are very comfortable.

 Pretty good enough.

Small, dirty room, plugs and rotten cabinets. Misunderstanding with the room. We rented a double room and were assigned one with bunk beds. Dirty bathrooms, personal not speaking English. No recommended.

It was a horrible experience.

We have spent a few nights in this establishment which I must say is not a hotel but rooms in the inhabitant's house. Positive points: - Geographical situation (5 minutes' walk from the metro station and less than 5 metro stations from the city centre). - Availability of several bakeries (tea room) in which to have breakfast. - Availability of the manager (possibility of arriving at night). - We have a manageable and French-speaking manager. - Free baggage deliveries. - Some rooms are well equipped (tails, air conditioning, mini-refrigerator, storage...). - Kitchen available. - Negative points: - Our establishment had a well-fitted bathroom (we have been unable to get cleaned... but we have been unable to get cleaned...) - We have a budget of 40 euros, but we do not have to clean up the bathroom. - We have to clean up the bathroom.

A Potential to Continue to Develop

The hostel is located on the first floor of a building, very clean, 3 bathrooms and absolutely very cheap I would recommend to those who are in Lisbon for a short time the only new pigeons that from early in the morning would make us company back on the balcony

A Hostel to Consider

The cost benefit of having a private room with a TV and a bar is exceptional. The location is not close to Lisbon's nightlife and attractions, but very close to the metro. During the day there are numerous good and cheap options for bakeries and restaurants nearby.Ana, the Angolan who takes care of the place, is an example of sympathy.
