Very good price-quality ratio, clean rooms, 24 hours reception, excelent location.
We booked private room with bathroom for 2 persons and it was the cheapest one with the private bathroom in the area - basic furniture but desent and clean, very quite for sleeping, not many people around.. it has a shared kitchen area with fridge where you can leave your food..even has dishees for cooking. Within short walking distance to almost all landmarks. Very nice and polite girls who work on the reception.
4th floor without elevator but not a big issue

No gustó · Only to say something, they could offer free coffe or tea (at least put a kettle in room). In any case is just to say something..

Very good price-quality ratio hostel with private rooms in the center of Lisbon

I went alone to Lisbon for a few days and I wanted a good value for money and a lively and well-served neighbourhood. This youth hostel is perfect. The neighbourhood is central: between Rossio Square, Commerce Square and Santa Justa (elevator). It is on two floors but there is no elevator to go up to. There are restaurants on the street, but at 10:30-23h00 there was no noise and there are rooms in the course (so I believe). I chose to pay a little more to have a private room with bathroom and toilets. The bunk is spacious and the room is light. And without any problem. But the clean bathroom code is given and the bathroom is clean. The common room is very simple and the JIF and the room is very clean.

It's perfect.

I had a room with windows in the inner courtyard with a well. On the windows of the barn. The bed is comfortable, the laundry is clean, additional blankets and a pillow. Spartan setting. In the kitchen table with chairs, a plate, a teacup, a sink, a large refrigerator, a microwave. In the hall there is a sofa and a torch, advertising brochures, a city map. The staff tries to show everything at once, tell, help.. · There is no pad under the suitcase. The bathroom is very small.

The Spartan situation

We stayed here for a couple of nights and were really satisfied. The hostel is located in a lively street with several restaurants in the heart of Lisbon and is the perfect base for exploring Lisbon. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed, a closet to keep our clothes and access to a veranda. The staff was always available, and the hostel was ridiculously clean. The included breakfast is extremely simple, but there is a supermarket close by if you want to purchase and prepare your own food. The kitchen could have been better equipped. We missed more cutlery, salt, pepper, olive oil and so on. Overall we definitely recommend this hostel. 

Clean hostel with a great location 

A nice little hostel on a very good location in the quarter Baixa-Chiado. Friendly owner, good cleaning and (simple) breakfast. Some disadvantages: you got to walk up some irregular stairs to the third floor. The shared bathroom is very small, so if you are a bit older or injured it s realy hard to move. In conclusion: some inconvenients, but good value for money and good location. Would recommend it for young people.

Good for young people!

Everything is near because the hostel is located in the middle of center town. Rooms are quiet and comfortable, I was in a double room with private bathroom. The breakfast is just bread, butter and jam. 


Excellent location

Good location, super easy to find and only a 5 minute walk from the airport bus top. Spotlessly clean everywhere and comfortable bed BUT absolutely no soundproofing inside, so you can hear and feel every sound and movement from other people staying there. 

Cheap but you can hear every sound from other residents

Very well situated, and at this price, you don't expect a palace, very simple room, a bed, a closet, but very clean. A large common bathroom, large shower, two sinks, once again very clean. No place to sit relax. A convenient common kitchen, a minimum lunch, toast, cereals, coffee, we can always complement with our shopping, plenty of room in the fridge. Friendly staff. For those who are sensitive to noise, try to get a room in the back, noisy on the street.

Good value for money

It's a very nice hotel, on a street parallel to Augusta Street. It's complicated if you're carrying large bags because you have to go up many floors of stairs. It's a clean and cheap place, with the possibility of meeting new people.

This was the second time I stayed at the Sweet Home in Lisbon. The first time I stayed a week, this time 41 days, because I went to study. It is a place that is located in Baixa, right in the center, in the historic part of the city. Easy access to all places in Lisbon and Portugal. It has a kitchen where you can prepare meals and also store the food that needs refrigeration. The place is clean, airy and the rooms as well as the beds are cleaned and renovated every 3 days. The public bathroom, it is always being cleaned during the day. Shower with warm and abundant water and the box with plenty of bathroom. Sleep well and get up well. The bed I stayed on was quite comfortable. The people who attend are always available to lend me a hand and help. A large escort is certainly there, and if I can get back to the 4th floor, I can definitely get a large escort from the hotel without exercising my hand.
