Monte Gordo

A hotel that resembles a motel with an individual terrace that overlooks a garden area.The spacious modern rooms are very clean.The bed is very comfortable.The bathroom is very spacious and clean.The service and attention of the owners is excellent.The breakfast is exquisite.A great stay.

Escape Relax.

It's hard to highlight something because everything has been great in Vila Formosa. The rooms have some large and comfortable beds, comfortable armchairs to sit on, a minibar with very low prices, a spacious bathroom with bathtub... and at the door of each room a small porch where to sit - and even a shopkeeper! The breakfasts are not overly varied (it's not a hotel buffet) but you can eat up to a hartarte with rich criss-crosses, pan del son and all the freshly-expressed coffee and juice you can consume. In addition to other things like bowlers, yogurt, infusions... But where you reach the almaños the site is in the two.

I'll be back safely.

Very spacious rooms, in a great location.  Close to restaurants, across the Romano Bridge, and not far from the boat to the beach and the market.  There is also a kitchen for self catering with everything you would need.

Good Guest House

We were looking for a place to stay for a wedding and came across this wonderful guesthouse.  Located a short distance outside Monte Gordo, no more than a 5 - 8 minute walk.  The rooms are spotless and very comfortable.  The continental breakfast is just perfect, with the biggest croissant I have ever seen.  The staff are possibly the most friendly and helpful I have ever come across.  A great place to stay.

Brilliant place to stay

I cannot express more how good this place is. We stumble upon it during our road trip in Portugal and looking for a place to stay for a night. We were so tired and also tired of a place packed with tourist, from Lagos to Albufiera and somehow we found this jewel. Its like 5-10 minutes to beach and also to small town bordering to Spain. We liked it so much and extended our stay (lucky that we have the room available)
The room is perfect and squeaky clean. Great bed, Great bedding, have AC and shower working great. The owner is very helpful and hospitable. Breakfast is great too! I wish I can stay here again and I highly recommended this place!

THE BEST!

Very cozy site with spacious rooms and quality bed. We immediately feel at home. Very neat cleanliness and decoration. Special mention of the gentleness of the owner and the quality of the breakfast. The car is parked closed at night. Each of the eight rooms has a private terrace overlooking a small and simple garden. We were eager to return.

Attention to detail.

We got to know it by letting ourselves be carried away by the booking reviews and tripadvisor and it did not disappoint us. The quality of the price is excellent. It is noted that it must be recently renovated, because all the furniture is new and the painting too. In the photos it loses a lot of what it is actually. We stayed in the blue room and we loved it!! Precious. The treatment of the owners is impeccable.

Really good place to stay during your visit to Monte Gordo. It’s some 650 m distance from center but the accommodation is great. The service is good. There maybe be so more vegetables for breakfast but still a give high marks for this place 

Nice place to stay

A motel-shaped guesthouse with rooms that overlook the garden of the entrance. Pleasant and very affordable. It has a good location that allows you to get out by car to explore various sites in the area. Personal with a friendly and quite attentive treatment. A success.

A very good option.

This was my first stop in Portugal on my Veloreise through Spain and Portugal. A sweet little guesthouse with very nice hosts and a wonderful breakfast. The first in four weeks, which is worth calling breakfast!
