Ultra central location with a panoramic view of the city,  restaurant and confectionery 2 minutes away,  parking space and 5 minutes walk from the wonderful public garden of Braila.  The hotel bears the stamp of the communist period which can be found in the reception,  lobby and hotel restaurant.  The rooms have been modernised,  the carpeting and the bathrooms have been redone.  Free  WiFi.  Personal OK

Ultra central location 

Good quality, price and kindness have made our living room pleasant. The rooms are adequate and furnished with basic comfort. The view from the higher rooms is priceless. There are some things to improve: the breakfast, rather monotonous, and the air conditioning of the upstairs rooms.

Good value for money

The good: tall, memorable communist era building, with an awsome view over the city and the Danube, from the top floors; clean, decent furnished rooms; kind & helpful staff; free working wi-fi & private parking; quality breakfast; decent priced;

The bad: small rooms with no balcony and minor problems (shower leakage); continental breakfast, though good, lacks in variey and quantity;

Downtown historic business hotel

Soviet-style hotel, inadequate in everything, poor service and staff who don't speak English, no breakfast, only the rooms are renovated, but not enough, poor floor service, they don't even change the towels, avoid it if you can.

Communism still exists

The good: the 12th floor deluxe suite is large enough, clean, well furnished; heating worked great; amazing view of the city & Danube; helpful staff; free wi-fi and private parking;
The bad: no balcony; cold light in the room; scarce toiletries; poor continental breakfast (although buffet was promised);

Communist era but well maintained grand hotel

Hotel quality even though the outside looks austere. The rooms are clean. The food served at the hotel restaurant is of good quality. Breakfast, on the other hand, is disappointing. The salty only buffet is not very diverse.

Good quality to price ratio

My review is 4/5 for what it offers. I didn't give 5 because of the elevators that are from last century I guess and because the room smelled weird sometimes. The personel is very kind and the facilities are ok.

A nice hotel

During our trip to the Danube Delta, we slept in this hotel. From the outside and also in the reception, you feel like you are transported back to the times of socialism. However, the rooms are newly renovated and extremely comfortable. We slept wonderfully and still enjoyed the great view.

A nostalgic socialist hotel with great comfort.

Enjoyed my stay, they had great breakfast, great and friendly staff. Not the best lunch and dinner but all in all enjoyed my stay very clean rooms and most importantly great staff. It is close to the theater and the historical buildings and restaurants...

Nice hotel in the center of a small historical city

This hotel is very nice and comfortable. From the entrance and the exterior aspect you couldn't expect to be like this. The reception area is very comunist and old, but the rooms are renovated, comfortable,  warm, clean, with toiletries (shower gel, solid soap) included, with big spacious windows . The breakfast was good with plenty of choices.
