We stayed overnight, drove by transit. The price of the room with amenities on the floor was 2700 rubles. Another 100r is parking. Cheap. Okay, I needed to rest after 1000 km. The room is quite clean, but there is not even a refrigerator. I waited for breakfast in the morning: an eggshell, two pancakes and coffee. It's normal. After breakfast we took a little walk around the city. When we got back, I decided to go shower to get some light before the long road, especially the night when we arrived, there was no power. As an idiot, I went to the cabin and went to turn the rins, but the water didn't go. It was just turned off because the water supply to the city of Danbury, the city of Danbury, and the people around it, I understand, but they don't understand the comforts and conveniences of the city.

Horse price for a very modest service.

We were traveling with friends (2 pairs). We booked rooms with amenities, but somehow we didn't get enough of our room booking. There were only bathroom rooms on the floor, which was very offensive considering that we didn't stop in Vologda in these rooms, but went specifically to Danilov, which is not a tourist destination. I suspect that booking is placed on rooms with amenities, but in fact there are none.

Cheating with reservations

We stayed for one night.The city center, surrounded by many shops.The interior is cozy, minimal set of soap accessories.The bed is clean, there are no side smells.But 3000 rubles is expensive for this town.

The rooms are clean, the bedding is white, but the capital is 3000 rubles + 100 rubles per parking. The parking is huge and empty. It's not bad, but the prices are high.

We stopped at this hotel on our way home. As far as we could find information on the Internet, it is the only hotel in the city. The plus is a good room, clean enough, perfectly white underwear, comfortable bed, friendly staff. The minus is a pretty high price, the room was cold (heating is off), but at our request they gave us an extra blanket, no working evening cafe and a disgusting breakfast.

I can't say anything bad. The main drawback is that the price is completely separated from reality. Dragging 3200 +500 for a standard room is probably just greed. As a comparison: we came to Danilov from Yaroslavl, where for the same 3800 lived in a luxurious hotel by John Vasilyevich (against the Kremlin) in a luxurious room with a great breakfast, before that we lived on the Volga coast in a hotel in Uglice, where for 2500 rubles even a jacuzzi entered, a huge bed, a great breakfast.

A sad place.

This is the real Russia!! Unless you are here on business the only other reason any foreigner would come to Danilov would be to see what life in Russia is really like. This is peasant country, where most people live in wooden houses, with no running water, and families live off of the land, growing their own fruit and vegetables. This is the only hotel in town and is room only as the restaurant was closed. No tea or coffee, just room only and sharing the bathroom and toilet with 10 other rooms. However, the room was comfortable and clean and I slept well. You would also need to be able to speak some Russian as people do not speak English here. The only tourist attraction here is the cathedral on the outskirts of town on the edge of the woods. The outside of building is more impressive than inside which suffered badly during the soviet area. There is also nice painting exhibitiion where the artist lives on site and some of the impressionist paintings were very impressive.
