The hotel is located in the central square of the city, next to the government buildings, a beautiful theater, a park. In the adjacent building there is a large shopping complex - supermarket Maria Ra, SportMaster, souvenirs, Ricker shoes, clothes and so on, on the 3rd floor of the food court (KFC, Burger Kings).

Best place in town

The staff isn't ready to work! And they don't want to! The administrator meets you through the teeth, discussing with the local housekeeper (it's more important to them).

It's awful!

It's a good hotel, a shower and a toilet on the ground floor, a comfortable one-night stand, refurbishment, nice service, the only inconvenience is that you return the key at every exit, it's uncomfortable just because it's more comfortable to carry the key with you.

The third floor, where we lived, is all about fresh repairs. The staircase leading to the third floor is already impressive. The floor is shining in the corridors. New doors everywhere. New furniture in the room. New walls. In the rooms a new cafeteria and a new laminate. Stores. Tulle. Tea room with glasses. Tombbox with sink. Sanitary is shining. TV. Rosettes and switches are in perfect working condition.... Everything was fine until I left my stain on the double bed.

I arrived at the hotel on February 11, 2018. Before that I called, booked. The arrivals are settled on the 4th floor. There is no elevator. The condition of the 424,425 rooms - single-seat are terrible. I just don't understand why they don't warn before settling that there will be no shower. It's 60s, or worse. I barely lasted 2 days. Shower is not at all, even in the corridor was closed, the toilet is filthy. Only the bed is clean. There is a sink in the room, but it also didn't work. On the 3rd day I couldn't stand and went to the Golden Tuak.

Good equipment for Russian conditions, pleasant accommodation and friendly staff, no additional towels were required, but there were also enough towels with two pieces.

The hotel Gorny Altai is conveniently located in Gorno-Altai and this is all its advantage. All the rest is memory in Soviet times: there is no elevator, and all the rooms are on 4 floors and you have to drag luggage up a narrow staircase by 12 meters.
