It's a perfectly normal hotel for a city like this. Of course, it's a deep sink, but we didn't expect to have a Swedish table, a heated pool, and a pack of erotic channels. It's poor, but clean, the beds are comfortable, sleeping well, the neighbors were fine, the wifi was working.

I went with my friends to a popular place to go for a walk, I'm in the shower, but they're not there, and I had to take them somewhere to sleep. They booked two rooms at Russia, for them and me. The aunts at the reception work around the clock.. Everything is very good, for a comfortable car-walking-tourism stop. Almost everything is even in the economy rooms.. In the room (one) clean, neatly cleaned, cleaned, two towels, hot water in the shower, the bathroom is quite decent. You know, sometimes you stay in the nightclub and there are a few towels in a plastic bottle you know, the lamp is mournful, and you're spending a lot of money and it wasn't so bad, but you start in the bathroom.... Why is it so nice, neat, cleaned, cleaned, cleaned, cleaned, cleaned, there are two towels, hot water in the shower, the bathroom is quite decent.

In fact, the hotel is designed for travelers who worked all day and only came overnight. They could come late, and eat nowhere, because on the floors there are kitchens with a tile and dishes, where you can prepare a sloppy breakfast/dinner, or on the sloppy end splash a teapot. That's all done. However, now the hotel is also home to foreigners.

The hotel at the station

I came on a business trip and there was only one option of accommodation - the hotel Russia. Of all my business trips, this was the most unfortunate accommodation. On the other hand, there was a place to sleep and thank God, but that's all. But I want comfort) enough to look at a photo and everything is clear.

I had to live somewhere.

I'll tell you right away that they didn't order this hotel themselves. They came for a business trip. And it's good that it's only for one day. From the entrance, it was clear that we had a difficult day ahead of us. It was all a mess, with divorces, scrapped. They settled in at night, tired of the road, the manager did everything very slowly and reluctantly. The rooms were cold, the furniture was ancient and burnt. The laundry seemed clean, but with the traces of many years of use. They slept in clothes.

You better go to Tula.

It's a typical Soviet hotel. It's worth it. Hot water was enough. Breakfast - don't take it! It's not worth paying for, it's easier to either go to a McDonald's nearby or buy something! we - people who are completely unpretentious - we couldn't eat it (the choice was: cashews or pancakes or eggs with sausage) in the end, it was edible.

Soviet hotel with a complaint

The location of the hotel is quite good its near to one of the good restaurants & Mcdonalds , also its too near to bus station. There is 2 type of rooms at the hotel 5th floor is cheap rooms with unconfortable beds . but this rooms have a working desk for the laptops etc. the lover levels have bigger & comfortable rooms with double bed , kettle etc. But there is no desk to put your computer thats why working with computer is too hard. The internet connection is free & the speed is quite good. There are some other hotels is Novo ( i stay in other hotel one time but its worst ) but everytime i choose this hotel because of the location 

I stay for business purposes

There's a children's park nearby where you can walk around the Passage Centre and much more. The room for 3000 has a very spacious 2 seat tea room, every day they clean up, a very good TV is not old, breakfast is 150 rubles every morning.

The best hotel in town!

I have spent 3 moths there. Staff hardly speaks English, but is generally very helpful.
Internet access depends on a room you are in, but they will relocate you on request.
Showers in rooms closer to the elevator is an interesting experience. There is no way to fix the temperature so one ends up showering under stream varying from freezing cold to burning hot in 30 sec interval. Again they will relocate you if you complain.
For a prolonged stay the good thing is the washing service (very reasonable priced and reliable). Rooms are clean and functionally furnished even if the furniture is old and ugly.
If you are coming to Novo for work it is still one of the best places you can stay. And I guess nobody comes here for leisure/romantic reasons ;)
