We were in a room with an individual bathroom, everything was clean although it is true that the mattresses were very fine and uncomfortable but in relation to the price is fine.

Correct for a few nights

I've been to a fair amount of hostels around Europe and this is easily one of the worst ones. Its location is the only advantage compared to others. Mattresses hard as rocks, room so hot it could pass for a sauna, dirty bathroom and rude staff. You can't pay with credit card even though it's advertised otherwise. There are literal spiderwebs in the stairs leading to the third floor. Not worth the money it cost us.

Avoid this place like the plague

A small nice Hostel in the middle of the towncentre and cloose to ”everything”! 
The Hostel didn’t have any meals (not even breakfast), but when You’re in the Citycenter there’s ”always” something Open! 
We found a nice Café that had ”everything” in the morning and some other places late at night! 
The only bad thing is that we had to wake up the personell at night to get in to the Hostel.

Bratislava, small and charming. The hotel is located in the new part of the city, but practically at the gates of the historic center. Parking is not very easy. You will need to park the car further away. If you are with the means the tram stop is in front. 10 steps and you are in the historic center, cheap, well served by restaurants and shops. It is not exactly the best service (we have no air conditioning with 35°), but for one or a few nights it is fine.

Tour

The good thing is: this is central, it's cheap, the room is warm, the receptionist is very nice. The bad thing is: you can't call that a bed, because the mini mattress was impossible to sleep on. Obviously, for the price per night, you can't expect much more.

That's what you pay for.

I stayed in the  shared double rooms and the amenities are basic. The front desk service however was the worst. After persuading them to leave my bag at the reception on the check out day for three hours -I came back to pick it and requested to use the bathroom at the front desk and they practically refused!. giving me the excuse that they had already cleaned. I think they expected me to pay for it or something.

Not worth it

I stayed here for a couple of nights in August. I'd a single room which was clean and a decent size. Staff were friendly. The hostel is very centrally located. It's on the tram line if you're coming in from the airport (involves one tram changeover in the suburbs). It's a short walk from most of the sights - the old town, walking tours etc. The street that it's located on is one of the main strips for bars and restaurants outside of the Old Town so you're only a few minutes from places like the KGB Bar, Flagship Restaurant. As a result, it can be a bit noisy until late so if you're looking for an early night, it may not be the place for you. I'd definitely stay there again based on price and location.

Central Location

Super excellent location, 10 minutes walk from the historic center! essential hill room furnished with everything. negative note, however, in 5 days we never changed towels, sheets or anything else. for the rest it's okay! great price for what's on offer

Hostel is okay!

I usually stay in City Hostel when am in Bratislava. Price and location are great! Clean and tidy rooms. Just down side is noise from some guests and duvets with some holes in. Overall good place and will be using again in future!

Good

Stayed there last night, when I arrived I was tired and wanted to sleep after a late flight. This morning, noticed there are no fire escapes for any of the floors, only the main stairway, so if that is burning, you are stuck, The first 2 floors do have a fire door at the end of the corridor, and they are left open, but on the top floor where I had my room, no fire door at the end of the corridor. To make matters worse, the top floor is made of partition walls, no brick, unlike the 2 lower floors. If a fire starts in the middle of the night, you are potentially toast. This hostel is totally breaking the law regarding fire safety. No way I will stay there again in that potential death trap.
