It's a nice, modern, friendly hotel at the foot of the Pohorje. It's also worth a visit for families. I've already evaluated the attached restaurant, but I'd like to point out here again that you should definitely have tried the Cevapcici mt Kaymak. It's a must to book breakfast because it's presented but you'll still be satisfied. The rooms are spacious and suitable for families. For couples who like to have a certain spirited, seductive flair, I can recommend the rooms with a whirlpool. As you can see in the pictures in the middle of the room not far from the bed.

The room has a nice view. It's spacious and has all the facets. Unfortunately, the cleaning is bad. I went to the supermarket and bought cleaning material. I cleaned the room and the tub. There's the smell of food from the restaurant below.

I stayed one night with my family (two adults and three little girls) to break off the trip to Vienna. We had a really good time together even though the hotel is not right in the center, the room is clean as well as the bathroom, comfortable beds and parking space included. It takes five minutes to get to the center by car. We ate dinner at the restaurant in the evening, we got the grill for two (which was actually for three quarters) really good. Nice staff, so I recommend.

Great place to stop by.

This hotel offers very spacious rooms. It was clean and the staff very friendly. Only one but, check-in limit before 23:00. Very good price. We have a meat-packing restaurant. The breakfast is 7€ pp.

Economic, wide-ranging cleanliness.

Although I usually love this kind of food I was totally disappointed this time. The fat was literally everywhere-the only thing I had from the lunch were stomach problems. It didn't taste good, the restaurant smelled badly and I will never return-for sure.

The rooms are great, very clean, fresh towels every day, an amazing all around hotel with great service and very polite and kind staff. The restaurant holds a variety of slovenian specialities, everything is fresh and made on the spot, very good and the service is amazing . They really try to make you feel great so you can really enjoy your trip . I recommend this place, visit you won't regret it ! 

Excellent

There are few Ranca restaurants in Maribor now, quality of the food is more or less the same in all three. Few different yummy looking things on the menu, but you should have definitely try 'lepinja with čevapčiči', with portion of 'kajmak' (goat's cream cheese). Oh yes, and for drink, try Slovene variation of Coca Cola, called Cockta!!! 

If you are in Maribor, you must try 'čevapčiči in Lepinja'

We booked a room with a Spabath. Unfortunately the spa bath couldn't be filled with hot water. The water from the tap was either cold or luke warm. 
The room was nice and spacious so no complaints there. Bed was below average, very soft and saggy. There were airconditioners in the room but they failed to cool down the room, probably not a problem if you're going in the winter to ski, but during the summer a working AC is a must!
Cleanliness of the room wasn't great especially the spabath, which was kind of dirty. 
Breakfast was ok, the food was slovenian which is different than what we're used to. We did get a large amount of food (same goes for dinner) but we would have liked to see some more continental breakfast food choices (slices of normal bread/croissant/pastry) 
Personnel wasn't overly friendly but that might just be the Slovenian way.
All in all for the price it was average and acceptable.
