Great little hostel. Small room, but everything you need for a stay in Seoul. Stayed 3 nights, and was able to visit everything easily from this location. The Women’s University metro station is a 2min walk away down a straight street and the metro pretty easy to use, just a few stops into central Seoul. Room provided towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Breakfast was great - the lady even made us waffles. Friendly staff and clean rooms - what more could you want?

Just what you need.

We came back Seoul after a year of our last visit and spent our 4 days here at Seodaemun area.Have been to ewha before but only this year we stayed at this area.We reached Kgrand Hostel by airport limousine bus and it was not too difficult to find the place.The staff was nice,helpful and we love the breakfast especially the corn soup☺️She also make pancake for our girl.Many guesthse/hostel we have stayed in seoul the best part is they provide americano machine ☕️The area was a walking distance every morning to convenience store & ewha shopping area as well as subway.I love being here Only 1 halal restaurant at this area (dont remember the name) where we usually bought the chicken rice but bit pricey. 

🌸My Mini Family Spring Holiday 🌸

The hostel is relatively well located, close to a metro station, but away from main attractions. The staff is very kind and polite, they are good people. 

The staff has some difficulty in speaking and understanding English. The restaurants' map they provided me is not helpful for non-Korean people. Restaurants' names are in Korean and there are no street names there. They should improve their capabilities in order to better help foreign guests. I didn't like the fact that room doors are facing the coridoor where people have breakfast. The room isolation is not very good and you can easily hear people outside the room. The room is very small, without space for storage, so I had to put my stuff on the floor. The AC is faced to beds, so you cannot leave it on during the night, or you will get a cold. The bathroom is the smaller I've ever seen and there is not a distinction between toilet and shower, so you wet everything when you have a bath. That's why there are not plugs in there. Also, the curtain is white! It's a complete non-sense because that's the same as not having there anything. You can see the whole room at night without inner light, so when the sun rises, around 5 am at this time, you have literally the sun inside. Finally, the breakfast is lacking a lot of variety. There is just bread to make some toasts, juice, milk and cereals. If you want eggs, you have to do it yourself.

Good location but poor room

Reception: Fuss-free. Nice lady whom explained the usage of the rooms, and provided instructions on unlocking the main door during the late night hours. Also helpful in pointing out where the airport transfer bus stops were.
Room: Cosy room for 4 people, considering the luggages we were carrying and our winter clothing. Do not expect much in the room. Complimentary cleaning services only for stays longer than 3 days?
Location: Situated right in the heart of the Edae area, so you have no lack of food and shopping activities. Simple supermarket located just downstairs around the corner if you want a Soju at night!
Price Point: Value for money. Will definitely be back.
Misc: Simple breakfast. Decent Wifi.

Fantastic location! Family-Friendly!

The hostel is now renamed to Seoul Grand Hostel Ewha University
Pros: 
- There's lift. This one-floor hostel is on the 7th floor of the building but there's a lift inside so no worries.
- Spacious rooms, plenty of rooms for luggages 
- Very clean, there is a strict rule of no food allowed in the room, thus everything is very clean. 
- Great city views from window
- Great location, Ewha University is walking distance, shopping streets are nearby, the nearest station is Ewha University station which is around 10 minutes away
- Friendly staffs, they will explain to you how to use the door card etc and rules to follow

Cons:
Hm.. I don't really have much to complain.. Except, there's no window in the bathroom? Haha

Read other reviews stating that there is waffles served for breakfast but we didn't encounter any? 

Squeaky clean 

We stayed at K-Grand Ewha University for four nights, and it was the most perfect place to stay for exploring the city!

It’s right next to a very convenient subway stop, so it was super easy to get anywhere in the city from the hostel. There are also a ton of restaurants and shopping within walking distance in Hongik University!

The room was incredibly clean, and the air conditioning worked very well (important since we traveled in the summer and it was blazing hot outside!)

The hostel staff were incredibly professional, and the breakfast each morning was an added bonus. The staff even makes delicious waffles, which were a highlight for our trip! The staff all spoke English, and communicating was easy, and they gave us some great restaurant recommendations when we asked. 

I have stayed in Seoul three times, and this was by far the best hostel we’ve stayed at. I would highly recommend!

(We stayed in the private room with attached bathroom and queen bed, it was the perfect size for a traveling couple.)

Fantastic Location In Seoul

I have had a pleasant stay in this family-run hostel. You will be very friendly and greeted in above-average English, and the hosts attach great importance to providing a pleasant stay. The location is ideal. The rooms are simple but clean. I highly recommend!

Solid hostel with friendly staff

I was looking for a convenient place to stay with my family so initially I didn't have a hostel in mind, but by coincidence, due to the top location I reached K-Grand Hostel Ewha. It was simply perfect! I have stayed in many places in Seoul, and by far this is the most price convenient.
1.	The rooms are perfectly clean as well as the private bathroom on each one. They have enough space to organize luggage and hang clothes and a nice view from the window.
2.	The place is quiet for a good night sleep.
3.	They offer a delicious breakfast in the mornings which includes coffee, fruit, milk, cereal, toasts and sometimes pancakes. If you still need a little extra you can use the kitchen to make some eggs, a sandwich or anything you want.
4.	They have big common space to hang out.
5.	They offer first laundry service for free which is convenient for longs stays as ours. 
6.	The hostel is 3 min walk from Ewha subway station on Line 2 and bus stop which makes easy to go downtown, airport and tourist attraction. Although you can just hang out in the neighborhood which is one of the main shopping districts and has a big variety of restaurants and coffee shops. Other cool areas to hang out as Sinchon and Hongdae are walking distance as well.
7.	The personnel are extremely nice and always willing to help with whatever you need.
8.	They kindly kept our luggage for a few days while visiting a different destination. 
If you are looking for a price convenient place in Seoul, well located, comfy and safe! This is it!

Best place to stay in Seoul

The highlights of my two-day stay are the very kind people manning the place who helped guide us to the places we wanted to go to; and the complimentary simple but yummy breakfast. The room was small but comfortable and clean. I knew before booking that the private bathroom is the traditional type wherein the whole bathroom literally is your shower stall... and I was prepared to experience it for just 2 nights. However I realized it is not to my liking. A full-length mirror either in the room or at the outer area would have been useful. 
Upon touch down at Incheon, we used the airport train. On our departure day, we used the airport bus. Both options were relatively near to the place. 

Very good value

My sister and I loved this place so much!!! It's got good location, close to the Ewha womens university station, very clean, and the staff are very friendly. Especially the morning (angel) ahjussi who prepared our breakfast. He'd make small talks, asking about our trip, and give suggestions when needed. They provide juice, bread, eggs, cereal, milk, and coffee in the common area. We can make our own toast and eggs for breakfast, but he also prepared french fries, and sweet corn soup. If you want, he'd make you waffle with his secret recipe. 

About a week before our stay, they sent us email on details of how to reach the hostel. Be sure to check it out! Mind you, it's located on 7th floor of an office building. So if you're not prepared to look for the building, you might miss it. We had to put a deposit of ₩20k, that they returned when we checked out. Cleaning service is only done once in three days, so you have to take out your own trash daily. Bathroom is clean, water pressure is good.

There are quite affordable diners surrounding the area, also a market that sell clothes, accessories, and cosmetics. A small convenience store is located around the corner.
I will definitely stay here again!
