I stayed last night for a work meeting in Algeciras. I arrived after 10 pm and walked at 6 am. Very friendly receptionist and the room better than I expected, spacious and very clean, both the room and the bathroom. The bed is very comfortable, and in the closet there were two mantas that came with pearls because it was cold. A budget hotel that gives you everything you usually need in the city, something basic and well located to be here and there and feel comfortable when you go to sleep.

A very good option in a good location.

The price is cheap, but it's right across from the harbor, it smells fatal and it's a super dirty area, and the hotel is so old that the drainage edges are rusty, the sanitary silicone and the seats are black.

The hotel is quite clean and this is the only positive note.I honestly knew, indeed I imagined, that for what I had paid I would not find a mattress, but...the neighborhood is dirty, it doesn't even look like Spain but Morocco.Under the room we had prostitutes who, by the way, kept me up all night with various skins.The next day we switched hotels.The furniture is old and bare.

Really the minimum necessary

It's an old but clean hotel and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Large room, like the bathroom. It has a dining room for a ready-made dinner. It's close to the port and bus station. The center is less than 5 minutes' walk away. It has bars and cafes nearby. The only place is the area itself, it smells like the street and it's not very clean, but that's the responsibility of the city council, not the hotel.

Good location and cleanliness.

A hotel with an incredible quality ratio price, I paid 54 euros for two nights, room with sdb.... besides not being a waitress, you'll be super welcome by ANTONIO, this person is golden, we've been super nice.... the most: at 600 meters of boats, you come on foot, many bars restaurants rated, thrown quietly all weekend.... for 22 euros a night you'll never find better!!!!

The BEST

The truth is that the price per room is a bit expensive in relation to the quality of the price, but it's up, given that it has the Puerto al cruzar la calle. To sleep well, I don't recommend it for stays longer than a day, Limpio está, from the era of the 50s... But the wifi worked luxuriously and the hot shower was great!! If you don't have more remedy to pick it up nearby, there are guesthouses at the same price and they're a mess of shit you'll be staying at 4-star hotels and they're already at the triple price.

 Acceptable

I was transiting in Algericas for one night in November 2017 and I searched a budget place in walking distance from the Bus terminal and to the Heliport.
This hotel has fit perfectly. Room was simple, but clean. It had even a bath tub. WIFI worked well. Old furniture, but I didn’t mind.
The man at the reception did not speak english, but no problems at check-in and check-out.

Good budget option for transiting Algeciras

It is a typical budget hotel (with a hostel appearance), it has the basic amenities but with the small handicap that lacks soundproofing. We went as a family and took two adjacent rooms and, in fact, we could communicate from room to room without using cell phones, because it was perfectly heard through the dividing wall. They also perceived all the noise of the street. Otherwise all is OK, the comfortable beds with clean clothing and nice touch, the bathroom and shower with good water pressure so we can say that it has what it takes to spend the night and rest. To qualify the location of the hotel it is necessary to take into account the part of Algeciras you want to go, if you are in the centre of the city a little further away from the harbour.

Correct but unpretentious.

The room, noisy, had a window in the bathroom that could not be closed and the noise of the street could be heard; the facilities, old and the people circulating around, were not soothing; he would never return.

Deficiency is a problem.

The rooms very completely clean and the beds were comfortable. AC was working well with a remote. Walls are a bit thin so I could hear some noises late night but nothing problematic.
Receptionists are not speaking English but we were able to solve the little requests we had (for example holding our bags while we went out to Tarifa).
Going out at night is a bit sketchy as the locals are let's keep this way not born Spanish and can get you a bit uncomfortable (anyway not much happening here during the night as this is a transit city).
What was really poor is the quality of the kitchen. It looks like no one is really cleaning it, towels and sponges are dirty. This is a really let down and should not be difficult to change.
All in all the place is well located and this is a very good place to get to Gibraltar, Estepona, Tarifa and other close places which are much better than this.
