Due to the snowstorm of February 28 in northern Spain, I cannot travel to Barcelona on the planned date and stay at the Hostal Abrevadero.Though the manager kindly agreed to change my booking a day later without charge to a higher room, although I was finally unable to stay the next day either.At my request and very diligently they delivered the bill to my company number.

Excellent customer service (although I couldn't afford to stay)

Even though it is a hostel, it has nothing to envy of a higher-end hotel, the rooms are impeccable and the bathroom inside the room as well, the service changes the towels every day, makes the beds and cleans everything. You can get in and out 24 hours a day, which gives the traveler flexibility to make a living in the city, both day and night. The price is very good, considering that the center is a few metro stops away, and compared to the rest of the hotels around it is undoubtedly the best thing to offer. The mattresses and pillows are new and the rooms are renovated, no expectations of finding a jazzicu to make a hotel life, it is a room where you can spend the night and park your car. If you have a hotel where you can relax and enjoy the night, this is the place you want to look for.

A good price is also available.

Very nice staff, very friendly, explain perfectly what you need to know about the city. The room is bright, clean, large and with a comfortable and very clean bathroom. In addition, store the suitcases before check-in and after check-out.

Clean, economical and well-located.

We stayed 4 days in this hostel for 2 days.The room had just enough but it was more than enough.There were very comfortable beds and a very comfortable but complete bathroom.The breakfast was very varied and the receptionists helped us to ubicarnos in Barcelona.There is a subway stop very close and in less than 10 minutes you can get to Las Ramblas.Also we kept our bags as long before check-in until a few hours after we delivered the room, so we could enjoy the days without loading our bags.

Very good quality/price relationship

Location is perfect(round the corner from paral lel), rooms are just like on the photo, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, staff very helpful and positive, even at some ungodly hours that i was coming back to the place. Towels were changed everyday, and the room was cleaned on daily basis also. Only little downfall was that the single room could be brought back to life by simply renovating the walls, it's a little thing but helps immensely. OTher thing was, that they broke my glass bong, that i left for a day in my room, simply by not being cautious. Could've told me rather than having me almost cut myself. But that's just a small thingy, can happen to anyone. I highly recommend

Very good value for money, clean and decent with great staff

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. I have stayed in many hostels around Europe and this was terrible. After a maze to get to our room (which I could cope with) the double room was a twin, the sheets were dirty and stained, the tiles had broken tiles and around the bath/shower was dirty. It looked like it had been cleaned the best it could be but there was plenty of staining and it hadn’t been cleaned by the window (small above the bath that acted as an extractor fan). The bathroom door also couldn’t be locked.

In terms of location it wasn’t terrible but wasn’t great.

The staff were friendly though. Other than that I can’t find anything good to say about it.
