My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights during our stay in Barcelona. For €30/night we had a double room with a private bathroom. The room was very small and the bathroom was tiny and a little uncomfortable, the furnishing dated. Our room was on the street (Carrer de la Prinçesa) so it was a little noisy. Of all the staff we had a chance to see practically only the night receptionist, who was not very talkative but everything turned out to be available, the only problem was that he didn't know English but only Spanish. For all of us these factors didn't represent a problem because we needed only one place to shower and do the shower, the whole day and most of the night is spent around.

Very pleasant accommodation in this very clean and well-maintained guesthouse located in the heart of one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in Barcelona.

For 30 euros a night it's fine, and the location at the beginning of the neighborhood is good. But it has many flaws: it's noisy, especially the rooms on the street (like mine), every time you want to go back you have to dial, the bed was really small, and there was only a power supply at two meters. I knew the bathroom was on the floor. What I didn't know is that from 9 to 8 you can't take a shower. But the room is very clean, nothing to say. And the wifi worked perfectly.

Good price, too much noise

It's not a luxury hotel it's on, but for the price it's perfect. Nice location, good neighborhood, 20 minutes walk from the beach and the boxes, 100m from the subway and bars. Everything is very clean and this is the most important! If you want a quieter room, ask the ones on Carrer de la Barra de Ferro (room 102 for us).

Appropriate, perfect situation

The second time we come here is because it's very well placed, nice reception, arranged to keep our luggage on the last day, room with a very proper private shower, which means we don't come here for silence, neither the one on the street, nor the one of the boarding houses (holidays and noisy showers, etc.)

The rooms are small and the furnishings are dated but the people who work here are very friendly the cleaning lady practically chases you to clean where you go including bathrooms and showers which are always immaculate very close to the ramps and next to a great and cheap restaurant I'd go back there

The receptionist who works at night has not only been unavailable to some of our simple requests, but also arrogantly rude and uncivilized. The boardroom is open 24 hours a day, and this could be a positive side. Despite its good location in the centre of Barcelona (a few minutes from the Rambla and the Port, 1 minute from the metro station Jaume I) and its welcoming and very kind staff, the hotel remains summarised: the rooms are old, bad smelling and badly heated in winter (the radiator runs discontinuously..problematic with the low outside temperatures).

Average hotel

I highly recommend this hotel where I stayed for 3 days for the day of Lan. The staff is very unpleasant and rude. As for the noise there is too much because too close to the street impossible to sleep well. Besides, on the way out of the hotel I had my bag stolen and dumped and the staff of the hotel did nothing to piss off!

I would recommend it to anyone who wants to go to Barcelona for the move, and has a lot of options for single rooms at 26.00 euros, since it is a busy street at night you can hear the noise, but if you are going to have fun and come back at 5am there is no problem!! Room starting at 26.00 euros single!
