Stayed here for work, so chosen because of location. Place hasn't been updated since the 1970's by the looks of things, and feels like it's on its' last legs. Didn't have to eat here and wouldn't really fancy it to be honest. Good points; some hot water for the shower, someone brought clean towels and shampoo sachets every day and made the bed, no one stole my luggage or broke into my car.  Bad points; everything else ...

Better options nearby unless you're desperate

Easy to find on the main road, large hotel,   there were only 3 guests including ourselves, so the restaurant and other facilities were not open. There was an excellent Chinese restaurant in walking distance. The room was ok but tired badly needed decorating and more light. The view was of building materials and junk. There were signs that some other rooms were in the process of renovation. Covered parking was available. The two staff were ok and helpful as no English was spoken communication was interestingly mimed. It was a good stopover for us but not the best. once it’s been completely decorated and the restaurant is open it will be better. Advice check alternatives.

A One Nighter

Very attentive staff, good service. Characteristics of a rustic hotel all clean and cared for. Full breakfast according to the price. Good location, close to Andorra and the Seu d`urgell, surrounded by restaurants and all kinds of shops around. No complaints, totally recommended.

On my way to Spain, I booked a night at the Hotel Alto Segre in Montferrer, outside Seo de Urgell, the rooms are basic and to be renovated, the reception is medium, the only positive point, the parking in front of the room

Hotel out of age

The receptionist doesn't understand Catalan, he forces you to speak in Spanish. The treatment of this gentleman (He is the boss) is terrible. The breakfast is very scarce: there is no variety. The rooms are very old-fashioned and dirty everywhere and the water coming out of the hose goes out in all directions except for the hose.

It was a disaster.

We entered the Reception, we asked for a room, they looked up at us from top to bottom and suddenly responded to us with quite a bad manners.The old place, disused, in the works, the living room overlooking a garbage dump, badly ventilated.Finally a disaster.We're not back.

It's more of a pessimism.

A very old and uncomfortable bed ensures a sore back the next day, the TV should be no more than 13 inches, the 1960s facilities, the air conditioning consists of a stand-alone fan. And add it up. For more INRI, you get a sign at the counter warning you that the dataphone is broken and cannot be paid by card, something that would be of no importance if the status of the sign does not reveal that it has been broken for years. That is, that the uncomfortable sums that you have to look for a bank to keep cash and that you will contribute to the sluggish economy. A disaster. The only good thing is that you can park within the years.

It's expensive for what it is.

In reform and opinion is what is not reformed, rooms poorly ventilated and bathrooms very badly smelly with spiders in the living room, heating not regulable, proper treatment by the staff located in a good place.

Terrifying  Terrible

Make sure you check any other hotel or camping before you even consider this hotel. They have absolutely no heat. Bed is not comfortable, it is old and smelly, and staff not helpful. Also, it is quite expensive for what is offers which is just four walls. Thank god that never tried their restaurant as they flagged me when I had to purchase their meals in advance, lol.....

Horrible place, stay away !!!

Hotel that no longer deserves the two stars. The buildings and rooms have not been maintained in time. The presence of cracks in the ceiling of the room, living furniture, dark bathroom with cracks due to the infiltration of the upper room, no air conditioning, no soundproofing so go somewhere else to sleep in good conditions.
