Apartment with 2 bedrooms 1 kitchen and 1 bathroom. Parking is possible. The neighbourhood is ugly but not too far from a metro and bus station. The apartment is rather spacious with old-fashioned decoration but remains comfortable. The bémol remains the liters (only 90cm) of poor quality and therefore uncomfortable. Although not a breakfast but as this aparthotel depends on another hotel a street away, I imagine it is possible. The rest there is the kitchen. There is no service itself, but this place and very clean and very well heated. For 3 with parking 270€. Bref very well for a family stay.

I stayed only one night, but although the location of the apartments is not the best, the apartments are phenomenal. They are new and equipped with absolutely everything you might need in an apartment, from a large freezer with freezer to coffee maker, washing machine, kitchen utensils, etc. With heating throughout the apartment and bathroom with everything you might need, (toothpaste, paper towels). The area is very central to me, but I don't like the dark and the atmosphere but to spend a few days working in Madrid is phenomenal. I don't want to go through a single one that has free wireless.

A great alternative to hotels in Madrid.

We had a lovely family city break to Madrid end of December 2010. I picked the apt because of the location. From Airport you get the metro to Nuevos Ministerios and walk 6 mins to apt. It has 2 bedrooms each with 2 single beds, 2 TV's (no English speaking channels), well equipped kitchen, great new bathroom with spacious shower & supply razors, toothbrushes & toothpaste,  shampoo, shower gel & lovely towels. It is located on a narrow street but you do hear a little noise as it is in the city. Nice local shops & supermarkets on the same street.
Great location for Real Madrid Stadium less than 15 mins walk away - the tour is great.
From Cuatro Caminos you can get the metro to Opera where you can see the Palace & old part of the city & we took an open top bus tour. 
I would highly recommend a stay in Apartamentos Cuatro Caminos - the staff are friendly and helpful & gave me a very good map of the city. I left my phone in the apt by a mistake and they very kindly posted it to me. We would stay there again.
