A good option if you want to get lost in the Prades.Ferran and Monica will make you feel at home or perhaps better.Great breakfasts on the huge outdoor table, always a few fried eggs to the point.Great meals and especially desserts accompanied by a good gin and tonic.Recommended the weekend menu is shopped.

This is how Monica and Ferran make you feel, you have the impression from the moment you arrive that you are a welcoming guest in the home of a few friends. Spacious rooms, with a decoration that fits the house, garden, pool and the tranquility of a country house.

Like at home.

Please do not hesitate to go spend two days in this sublime place. In the middle of nature with a lovely family and a dreamy swimming pool. Everything is assembled to unwind and have an unforgettable moment. We loved it!!!!!!

This is a dream place!

The place is very beautiful and very welcoming for the children (trampoline, swimming pool, game console, toys...). Our room was correct, a little small for a family of 4, but it was the last available. Note that in this guest house it is not possible to dine and cook in the common areas (which include cooking and barbecue), which is nonetheless convenient when the children are too tired to go out to the restaurant. The housekeeping of the rooms is done only one day out of two, but it is not really cool enough. The place is windy and in the middle of August we did not enjoy the chalet, the nights are even cool, which is very pleasant. The area is beautiful and the village of Montblanc is charming.

Nice frame, quiet

We found Mas Carlons on the Internet by chance. We were looking for a place to stay in Catalonia for some of the summer. The photos and description on booking.com ticked all the boxes and we booked it there and then. We like to travel independently and were keen on finding a location where we could Immerse ourselves in the local culture and experience the real Catalonia. We could not have chosen a better location. Monica and Ferran were so welcoming, making us feel relaxed and at home in our new surroundings. Our room comprised of a double room with seating area, an additional room off the main bedroom for our daughter and a bathroom all of which were beautifully furnished and decorated. We also had access to a private terrace which boasted far reaching views across the vineyard, olive groves and beyond. Monica and Ferran serve a wonderful Catalonian breakfast made from local produce, including home made preserves produced at Mas Carlons. We spent many happy evenings chatting with Monica and Ferran and their other guests in the evening. We stayed for a total of 15 nights and saw much of the local area during our stay. There's so much to see and with Barcelona, Girona and Tarragona all within reach for a day trip it is the perfect base for the independent traveller. The tranquil setting provides the opportunity for a restorative day by the pool and the town of Montblanc is only 10 minutes 
walk away for Tapas, dinner, shopping and a few drinks. This was by far one of the best family holidays we've had and I would recommend this location for families and couples alike. We'll certainly be returning next year, most likely with other members of our family who are eager to join us having seen our holiday photo album!

Perfect family holiday in beautiful rural location

The fantastic food: very complete and quality breakfasts Very good dinner Calçotada, magnificent Ojalá can be repeated soon I imagine that in the summer, the pool will be a good complement.

Very pleasant, comfortable and friendly.

My husband and I stayed at Mas Carlons for 7 nights while touring on motor bikes through northern Spain.   We used the location as a base for day trips, and enjoyed a rest day or 2 on days that were too hot to ride. The owners, Ferran and Monica (son Ivan and lovely golden retrievers Viena and Taka), are the most wonderful hosts.  The morning breakfasts gave us more than we needed to get through the day, and the evening dinners were amazing! As Aussies who love Spanish food, being able to share delicious home made Catalan meals with a wide range of guests also enjoying the lovely Mas Carlons only added to the overall experience.  We were also given many great tips for locations to visit when out riding, and were fortunate enough to share a day touring with Monica, Ferran and a couple of their relatives.  For keen motor cyclists, there is nothing better than riding with locals on their local roads...

Mas Carlons is at the top of our list if you're looking for somewhere off the tourist trail and you want to experience a real Catalan B&B.  Note, while well maintained, the building is historical and is best described at clean, tidy and rustic - which only adds to its charm! 

We hope to return one day, we'd live there if we could!!!

Charming, relaxing and fabulous Catalan food!

There are so many beautiful things to say about Mas Carlons... if you like nature, authenticity and conviviality (natural, never forced), good, simple and tasty cuisine, evening discussions in two or three moderately fluent languages... there aren't many places like this where you feel like a guest at a very hospitable friend's house.

One of our favorite places in Spain

It's not in the same town, but it's a 2-minute drive away (yes, it's a little hidden...) very comfortable rooms, with a decoration with rural elements arranged in a modern way. It has a small swimming pool, enough to cool off, surrounded by a garden with hammocks for those who want to sit down. The breakfast served sets the batteries for the rest of the day, very complete and with a variety of homemade foods... how do you notice when the embedded is not in a supermarket.The owners sound charming and ready to show off a small display of jewelry that Monica designed, it's worth it!) But as the sounding of the other rooms: we would coincide with the rooms that were for you, we would enjoy the expansions, and we could recommend all our rooms, without looking at all the interesting exhibits!
