Clean rooms, friendly staff, decent breakfast and complementary tea, coffee and biscuits.

Unfortunately the rooms arent sounfproof at all and you can hear your neighbours down the hallway snoring. 

You get value for your money, but next time I will stay at a more expensive hotel. In contrast to some other reviewers I don't find  the hotel charmig, just old and in need of a renovation. 

Outdated paper walls. 

Järnvägshotellet makes you feel welcome as a guest, it has fair prices and the old building is charming. The location close to the railway station is execllern and you will find plenty of restaurants around. The breakfast is great and the room are clean and functuioanl and has al lyou need. Note this is a "hostel" type of place why you share toilet and swower but there ar many of them so you do not need to "stand in line"

Easy and convenient place to stay over

This is at most a hostel. Not even a toilet in the room. And they demand silence after 10PM but everybody runs up and down the hallway to go to the toilet. A loooong list of do's and donts which regular hotels dont need. And dirty. Like you can see on the photos....
Just invest a couple of hundred kronor more and check into a real hotel instead. Completely dissapointed. Beds are OK. Breakfast just the minimum basic. Breakfast room too small. Never again.

Not a hotel.

I think it's the cleanest shared bathroom facility I've ever stayed in. A beautiful, spacious room, recently furnished and very clean. Staff sit only in the morning, a nice girl who also takes care of breakfast. Instructions on how to get into the facility and settle in the room had come to me via text the day before.

By far the most adorable design I've seen in years. Got to love the interior! Nice breakfast and friendly and helpful staff as well, but the hotel could use some new painting here and there. Perfect located to see the city

Nice cheap middleclass hostel

This hotel is situated opposite the railway station. The building is rather old and the maintenance is not always up to date. However, the couple managing the hotel is very nice people who really want the guests to feel at home. The breakfast was OK and the price was at a level that made the stay worth its price.

A bit worn out with good management

The location near the train station is really good.
But when you get inside you realize that this is just a hostel. With all the old and weary furniture, with dark shared bathrooms and toilets, with poor breakfast.
I would really expect something better for such a price.

Good location but no more

The shared bathroom, however very clean and with every necessity, is absolutely offset by the breadth, cleanliness of the room. and common spaces. Kitchen with facilities for a coffee or evening tea. Supplied. Clean. Pan-Gruelic breakfast with every choice in a large and very bright room.
