The actual cabins are small but well equipped. The camp is not close to anything else (stores, restaurants) so you must either order your food before you arrive (good luck having them remember) or spend $100 going to and from Kiruna getting food each time. We had booked all of our excursions through the camp. They were run or managed very haphazardly. Every day we had to call to remind them to pick us up because they forgot us. On the tours, some were managed much better than others. The first night, we did Northern Lihht watching, a dinner, and staying in an igloo. The staff left us with the warming cabin not restocked with water at the sink. They told us we could walk up to the camp with running water to brush our teeth, yet didn’t walk us up, just told us to follow the lanterns. I got up there just fine but got lost walking back for more than an hour before my husband found me (I kept going back to the camp). Turns out that all the locals light their paths with lanterns. Anyway, if you book here, have a cell phone, and know that you’ll have to arrange food in advance and remind them of every tour because they have no idea what they are doing. The last thing you should know is that the camp is in an absolutely gorgeous setting. The tours were still fun despite the issues, we enjoyed the igloo stay, and it’s worth doing.

Mixed reviews - very disorganized place

We were in March 2022. We were very happy with our beautifully spacious cottage (we were in 5), full of windows that allow you to admire the view. Only there we were able to see the northern lights, because a lady from the kitchen kindly came to call us.

Structure in the Midst of Nature

We spent three nights in Aurora Camp in December. Close to the frozen lake, ideal for walking. The days are short so we spent a lot of time in the living room, the wild suite (near the reception). The room is nice, there is a mini kitchen but it is not convenient to have to wash dishes in the small bathroom sink. Possibility to light the path and do a sauna (but the technique is not given to everyone). We had a meal and breakfast, it was very good.

A beautiful landscape far from everything

Nice location next to the lake in a remote setting. Very comfortable rooms/cabins, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Staff was very kind and helpful, they will do anything to make your stay better.

Comfortable stay with amazing view over the lake

The camp is situated around 25 kms from Kiruna in the midst of nature. There is forest around and is definitely a must place for a nature lover. The entry to the camp is a bit tricky (though you have sign board) from the highway. I was there in the coldest time of the winter but I think summer will be beautiful as well.
It is just beside the river, which was completely frozen and we viewed the northern lights just from the room through the glass (though the intensity was very less).
Most important point for this camp, please travel with all your necessary item (food, drinks etc) as there is nothing nearby.

Nature at its ultimate

The structure is comfortable, with original accommodations and not far from each other. The problem is that there is no activity in the low season and, moreover, we chose a solution that we only found when we arrived not available for climate problems. We opted for another solution that is very nice but not as much as the one booked. Breakfast is not available, you can ask for breakfast in the bag, but it is preferable to bring something to your taste.

It's a beautiful structure, but in the off season it's not very well organized.

Me and my friends booked the main village. It looked very nice and clen. We stayed there just for 20 minutes before we left again. 
Because,
we found a mouse in the sofa! 
So we do not recommend it at all.
Be safe, watch out for mice.

We spent 3 nights at Aurora Camp looking for the Aurora Borealis enjoying the fireplace and having fun exploring the woods ! We highly recommend visiting the place if you are looking for a quite place outside the city .

Great winter escape !

We only stayed here for one night, but this is actually a place i'd like to come back to and stay for several days.
They have quite a range of cottages and suites in different price classes. 
We spent the night at the "wilderness suite" which is in the lower price class but still perfectly beautiful.
We even had our private little sauna and fireplace! The room was nicely furnished and clean; there's a small fridge, oven, microwave, coffeemaker and stove. The beds  were comfy too and the cottage has floor heating which you can regulate yourself.
The owner was very friendly and helpful.
The whole place is located near a large river in the midst of a forest.


Beautiful cottages, stunning location

We spent a very good night in the Panorama Room. Unfortunately we saw just a weak Aurora, but the place and the room was very nice and cleaned. This place is a good choice to see Aurora. The staff and the service was incredibly good! We talked long with the staff and they were very friendly and helpful with us. We will come back again! We recommend it for everyone!
