I went to spend a weekend and my stayed in this hotel was great. The services are perfect to spend few days on this beautiful city.
The common area is wide, the bathrooms very clean, the self check-in/check-out instructions very clear, also the localization is amazing, very close to everything.

Nice weekend in Lund

Nice, fresh and cozy. Well located in the city center of Lund and easy to travel with the railway station just two minutes walk from the hostel. Really good accommodation for a conference with opportunities to cook together and spend time with each other in the kitchen areas. 

The perfect hostel for a conference 

Winstrup, the manager, is nothing short of exceptional. His dedication to the job and his unwavering commitment to providing top-notch service make him a true asset to the hostel. From my experience and interactions, it is clear that he takes his role seriously and consistently goes the extra mile to ensure that guests feel comfortable and welcome. Winstrup's management style exudes professionalism and genuine care for the well-being of those under his care, making every stay at the establishment a memorable and enjoyable experience.
The dedicated staff members at this establishment are nothing short of remarkable. Their commitment to excellence in service is evident in every interaction. Whether it is the housekeeping, their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to meet guests' needs is commendable. Their friendly demeanor, efficiency, and their ability to anticipate and address guest needs reflect a level of professionalism that is rarely seen.

Remarkable

There was a customer who came back 5 am and made noise until 6 am while singing and laughing to themselves. I complained about this and was told I might get a chance to move bed (but no confirmation). I needed to sleep so I checked out in the evening and let them know and asked for refund for the last night that I paid for but don't use. They just replied they already relocated her (without letting me know). 

End result is I paid full price:
1st night slept ok
2nd night awake 5-6:30 because of alcoholic woman
3rd night skipped because I was not told she was relocated

I don't recommend this kind of service. If it would be my business I would give a refund if last night is spent somewhere else (or at least inform the woman is relocated).

Bad customer service, sleepless night, no refund

It was a very clean and nice experience. Everything was filled (toilettpaper etc) and clean. It was a nice vibe and I felt very safe. I found everything and the information with the text and email made the visit easy!

Clean & safe

My experience at Winstrup was great. It is a self-service style and minimalistic, which suited me perfectly. Absolutely spotless, very very clean and organised, which was an excellent experience. The rooms have door locks and courtains for each bed, which means you are not bothered no bother other people in the room with lights - it is a great system. I suggest you bring your lock for the closets, then you don't need to rent one. I don't have any complaints, it was truly my best experience staying at a hostel.

Perfect minimalistic and spotless clean hostel

I highly recommend this hostel in Lund! It’s cheap, clean, centrally located and good value for your money! The check in and check out processes are hustle free ! They also respond quickly to any questions or issues you might have during your stay.

Amazing clean hostel in Lund

I spent 4 nights here and found it really pleqsant. It is well set up for self check-in, the hostel was clean and well maintained, plus it has a surprisingly good kitchen. Bathrooms were clean, plenty of the essentials, and glhot water with good pressure. The location is great for Lund, easy to get everywhere on foot. Probably the only two "negatives" I can think of are that the top bunks are slightly uncomfortably high up, and that it has co-ed bathrooms. Neither bothered me, but just a heads up.

A good self-service style hostel, highly recommended

Very cleaned and organised, very flexible with checking  in and checking out.
The bathrooms and kitchen was very clean, the stuff was friendly and polite. 
The price is student friendly.
Really recommend it for a stay in Lund.

Very good!

Winstrup was big disappointment with zero customer service and no one to reach. There was no care for covid-19 and staying there didnt feel safe. They call themselves ‘high standard hostel right in the city centre of Lund’ but I can only agree with last part. If you’re searching for good place to go, go to airbnb or look for hostel with front desk service.
