Halfway between campsite and mountain shelter it is located two steps (a couple of minutes by car) from the entrance to the park it is well organized with an excellent kitchen, spacious and well equipped and friendly staff. We had the room inside the main building, common bathroom, well clean but that flooded if someone was taking a shower. Wide cupboards that allow to place even suitcases. Good breakfast for a fee

Perfect location to visit the park

Youth hostel ideally located to visit the park. The owner is very available and the rates are interesting. We rented a stuga. The cleanliness was limited and it was very dark. I think it is better to book a simple room in the main building much more welcoming. There are no shops nearby, plan to come with your supplies even if there is a mini grocery store on the site.

On our round trip through Sweden, we spent 3 nights in the hostel. We booked a double room without breakfast. The rooms are rather small, but there are also larger ones in this accommodation. But for us it was more than enough. We had a bunk bed as well as a small table with soles and a cupboard. The number of toilets/shows is rather small but basically sufficient. The whole accommodation is very clean and the operator is really putting in a lot of effort to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The kitchen is very modern and well equipped, and the living room as well as the terrace are perfectly suited to stay. You can also buy the sauna for SEK 50.00 this is really worthwhile. Even if you want to explore the National Park of Fulucancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancancan

Good accommodation to explore the vibrancy of the surroundings

We are Swedish family with two small children went for a 1-day road trip there. Simple but good enough 2-bunk bed room with good sound-proof construction for us. Small sauna facility is on-site, right sized common / dinning room with kitchen for cooking. 

Convenience for especially if you are aims to visit the waterfall - Njupeskär, it takes some minutes drive to there. After climbing up to see the waterfall, you would understand why that is good to just take you minutes back to accomodation. ;) 

DINNING - because of the convenience of location, sorry, there is no restaurant or take-away close by, do your grocesary shopping before arrival, so you could have a relaxful rest after the day trip.

Speedy check-in, even with late booking. Ulf guided us through via phone. 

Small, but cosy room. Great kitchen facilities and dining/living room. Buy groceries in nearby Särna and your good to go :-) Kitchen has storing capacity. 

Fulufjällsgarden is situated right next to the enterance of Fulufjället National Park, very convenient!

There's one more point after a renovation of the toilets and showers. But that's a high-level complaint. The operator is super nice and goes out of his way to help the guests where they need it. For evenings there's a nice living room and even a beamer to make movie evenings. Kitchen itself is equipped with everything. Basically all around great.

I can recommend it.

The location of this property is fantastic and itself is probably worth 4 stars, as it sits on the  doorstep of Fulufjällets national park. We had a stand-alone cabin that though cozy was difficult to regulate the temperature and so it was hot during the nights. Rooms in the main building looked more comfortable but likely lack the privacy of the cabins. That said you probably aren't looking for luxury at this property and shouldn't expect it. However it is perfectly functional for a base to begin exploring the park. 

We were there in September, thus late in the season and so there was almost no staff to be found. This caused us no problem, because we received detailed information beforehand. They have a drying room available which is required when the rain comes. Sauna was also appreciated after a long hike. The kitchen and common facilities in the main building are very good.  



Functional with good value for money.

We have been two people for two nights in one small cabin for 700sek. it is cheap and very close to the Fulufjälet. But you can't get always a meal and buying food is not easy the stock is poor and the next place to buy food is in Särna. It is ca. 20km from Fulufjäletgarden. in Särna is a coop konsum and it es open mo-sa from 9am till 7pm at so from 11am till 5pm.

We were very well received, the conditions were excellent: very clean (bathrooms, shower), very well equipped kitchen, large dining room. The owners were very kind, we felt at home. The prices are affordable, about 10 euros a night to camp.

This hostel is amazingly nice. The check in is very flexible. The kitchen are by far the best I have ever seen in a hostel. The price was also very cheap. Sheets and towels for two nearly doubled the price. We got o four bed room for the two of us.
