From the moment you arrive you are greeted with a warm welcome and n introduction to a lovely, homely and warm environment with all of the comforts and amenities that you have when you go home. As always it is always the littles details that make the biggest impact, the beautiful clean crisp rooms, the indoor and outdoor chill out areas, the available tea, wine and coffee etc and the farm yard and domestic animals combined with surreal beautiful surroundings make this place number 1!  

Home away from home 

We stayed at Rothus for just one night and it was perfect. This B&B resides in a typical Swiss house. Everything is clean and the room was perfect. The scenery is breathtaking for someone not familiar with the region. It has a shared bathroom but this doesn't seem to be a problem. The breakfast was great and comprehensive, and the hosts are nice and helpful. The room was very reasonably priced as well! Definitely recommend!

A typical Swiss B&B locaed at a beautiful place

Our rooms were warmly welcomed by the owners, and they showed us our room and the other rooms at our disposal. The house is really beautiful: an old farmhouse modernised with taste, but without losing its typical character. Our room was spacious and cozy. Wonderful the living room with still the original wooden planks, which give a sense of warmth and intimacy. A corner of the house is used to prepare coffee, tea or tea with a reading corner to relax reading and drinking. The very large bathroom with a very spacious shower and two sinks with everything necessary for the bathroom. A special section of flowers deserves to be consumed where we ate breakfast; thanks to the time they have their place under the old portico of the old kitchen. What a wonderful house and what hospitable owners.

Located in a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, this accommodation is a farmhouse built in the typical architecture of the area.The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean, the heating works well, the breakfast is plentiful and full of small details that make the stay very pleasant.

Cleanliness and comfort.

We stayed in this b&b for two nights ans had great time there. The landlords were very friendly and nice with all their guests. Room was well furnished, there are also lounge room, breakfast room (with tea/coffee supplies which you can use during the day), shared bathroom and toilet (clean and well equipped). It is possible to order a dinner for a reasonable price or just to take it with the landlords. We had very nice evening with wine and chatting. Also b&b placed in very nice area and room view was spectacular.

A very cozy farmhouse, all quiet, very nice and attentive owners, very clean room and bathroom.The bathroom is shared and in the kitchen there is tea and coffee.The breakfast is great and very complete, it is at a huge table with the other guests, it was a lot of fun.

A very cozy place.

The room was very large and spacious, and even the bathroom was shared but very large and clean, and there was another toilet without shower. In the kitchen you had to make coffee or tea. They offered to go to the nearest station if we came by bus or train. There was a living room in the house and another area with sofas on the outside. As for the negative aspects, we couldn't connect to wifi, although the network appeared, but we didn't ask to get it because it wasn't necessary. It has escalators of caracol to climb up to the room. There is no sign that there are dogs and cats in the house (although neither the rooms nor the sofas are recommended).

 Exceptional

This is a really exceptional place: we got hospitality anytime, the host is very nice and helpful, prices for accommodation and dinner are reasonable.
The quality of the food is very good.
The children liked the animals and enjoyed the sweets.


Really great

It's a very cozy place, it makes you feel like home! ♡ We loved staying there! Ellen is a wonderful woman. Despite that we arrived at 21.30, she prepared us dinner and it was delicious! ♡ We also had breakfast the next morning, and all the coffee and tea were on the house :)
