We are staying with a friend in this inn for three days of cycling around Andermatt, in addition to the bike space, the location is literally perfect, several large Swiss Alpine passes are accessible from the inn. This place is perfect for cyclists who have spent all their money on their bike but who want to visit central Switzerland for a very interesting price!

Perfect for cyclists

It's a very nice little hostel, with welcoming service and comfortable rooms. It's all made of wood and griddled, so you have to be lucky you don't have neighbors that make too much noise. In our case, two people got up at 3:30 and then at 4:00 and let the alarm ring for a long time.

Very pleasant.

It started with the warm reception. You can't miss this youth hostel! After registering we put our bikes in the garage. At the entrance there were many kinds of finches available. Then we visited the kitchen and got a big room, quickly approved a warm shower and then the Apero. My partner made us a nice snack in the fully equipped kitchen and I naturally enjoyed doing the laundry. We didn't even have to take our own laundry.

This is phenomenal Jugi!

Very soon we found refuge in the Jugi, we were able to use the self-service kitchen, which was superbly equipped. The breakfast buffet was amazing: even gluten-free and vegan variants were available!!! Sensational!

Spontaneous and very flexible

We booked for a group of six and actually thought we'd get a bedroom with six beds or at least a floor bed. But the reality was then that it was a room with mattress storage in the mansion. Still, we were charged about 35 euros per person (including breakfast). I barely slept that night, but breakfast was pretty good then. So be careful what you really book there! Overall, the building gives a clearly decayed impression that the entire interior would have to be renovated sometime.

Youth hostels in the style of the 1970s

In the course of a multi-day driving tour, I spent the night here with my sister and my father. The owner is very friendly and cooked us a very tasty meal in the evening (on our wishes vegan). The breakfast was also very, very good with a large selection of drinks, bread, cereal, fruit, yogurt, pickle, marmalade,... and there were even homemade vegan dishes! :) We all felt very comfortable and will be happy to come back. For our racing bikes there was a bicycle for a more comfortable shed. The sanitary facilities will be on the corridors and were very clean. We would love to come back!

Very nice, simple and family-friendly accommodation to feel comfortable

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hostels very clean. Very, very delicious breakfast ( sausage, cheese, sweets, cereal, fruit including very good coffee). Dinner is also very delicious and favorable for the Swiss conditions.

Affordable but nice, clean accommodation with great service in beautiful ski area

We stayed with my siblings in the hospice Hospental for only one night. We were welcomed by the owner very warmly and in a family atmosphere.Upon entering the house, you can wrap your shoes!and get warm underwear.The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathrooms are equipped with floor heating.❤️Whoever wants to cook privately can do so in the well-equipped kitchen for guests.Whoever wants to cook in person at the owner's house in the evening can register.The food smells very delicious.)The delicious dish is included in the price and will find a great appetizer at every meal.

Very nice and family accommodation

The hostel is small and hearty, it has everything you need, you can even cook your own food in the kitchen for self-service workers. At the entrance you get your own shoes and you can store your own. The bedrooms are conveniently furnished and clean. The breakfast is rich and leaves almost no wishes open.

A very nice place.

Hostel: to live in a very communal way, in the bathroom all together without shame, no shoes but only slippers provided by the structure, you eat (only by reservation) according to what the boss has in the pantry, not a word that is not in German, a lot of warmth among guests, not cheap according to the services offered....but all in all a leap back that sometimes doesn't hurt.
