Travel by motorcycle to a hotel for one night. you pass the expensive port of Simplon and arrive at Brig. This hotel is away from the center, you will need a vehicle. The spacious, clean rooms and a large bathroom. Very small hotel, with terraces. Very charming. The dinner, spectacular! But (clearly) at Swiss prices... Greetings!

Hotel entrañable

It's a nice nice little hotel, nice little breakfast, nice nice room, nice Swiss, it's not for the drunken. A cafe, four euros, a bottle of water, nine euros, but it's nice.

When a website advertises a rich breakfast, I also expect something other than toast, yogurt and confectionery. If there's also a desire for a piece of rack cheese and I have to be happy about it, my disappointment with the announced rich breakfast is great! Fruits, flakes, choice is not known here. Breakfast is my main painting and I choose hotels consciously after that. Here I definitely took the side.

Rich breakfast?

Unfortunately, neither TV nor radio work in the rooms. In the bakery next door, there is the best bread - even on Sundays - but the guests are toasted with white backpacks. You don't get flakes or fruit and a mirror lighter would be too much of a good thing! Breakfast is - well - like the rooms used to be: the best times are probably over here too.

The hotel has had its best days.

We have just spent a night in Chavez. Warm accommodation. Clean and comfortable room, pleasant and very good evening meal, breakfast also very pleasant. The view is beautiful despite the grayness but we highly recommend it for hikers or people looking for tranquility.

Comfortable and warm

The room is average good, the Better very decent and the bathroom with the large corner bathtub very nice. But the highlight is definitely the 8-course menu with the personal story about Geo Chavez! Absolutely worthwhile and unforgettable!!! The food was extremely fine and the portions really worth seeing! Really an absolute secret tip :-)

It's got to be history.

We were at the Hotel Chavez on the recommendation of an acquaintance. Now the hotel was only a means for the purpose that after eating in the Chavez Stuba with our full stomachs we only had to climb two floors up the stairs... So the hotel room was also designed accordingly for sleeping. Everything was clean, but it got into the years and was worn accordingly (I don't even know how it looks like a tube TV anymore;- bath). The large bath was very comfortable and the bath was big and bright. Now for the highlight of the evening. We were warmly received in the home and very lovingly decorated Chavez Stuba by the hostess Lili Steiner and all the rooms are lovingly surrounded! Besides the excellent menu with eight famous Steiner specialties and we must not forget about the history of the evening, and we should not forget about the history of the family and the history of the family.
