I popped in here one hot Saturday morning whilst visiting the village. We had just been to the Balthus museum and fancied some refreshments.

We managed to get a table outside under an umbrella and this was great. They were happy for us to just have drinks. 

Good service and location.

Excellent restaurant right on the main road

Following a misunderstanding, our (court) stay on the night of 31 December to 1 January turned into a nightmare: insults, suspicion of hostel wiring, unpleasant remarks at breakfast and even threat of calling the police..! Impossible to calmly explain to the boss who has shown a lot of bad faith and a complete lack of professionalism (lack of sheets and towels; hidden supplements when paying).

The worst hotel experience of our lives.

I stayed at this hotel for a business meeting. Honestly, the place is very simple, but clean and functional. The flat is really of historical value and very beautiful despite the years. The rooms are clean and with all the comforts, the owners are very available.

rossiniere is a beatiful and quiet village, don't forget to walk the path around le grand chalet, gorgeous!!

highly recommended to get a full Swiss experience

The hotel is bang in the middle of Rossinière, a small charming village near Chateux d'Oex (which we visited for the annual balloon festival). The proprietors were extremely friendly and the whole experience was warm and convivial - locals popping in for a glass of wine or a coffee etc. The room was comfortable and had a small balcony, unfortunately covered in snow when we visited, with quite a generous bathroom. Great breakfast too.

A charming traditional hotel

Warmly greeted by Minou, we enjoyed a wonderful stay with warm rooms, every amenity, and an excellent kitchen.  As we came late, we went down for dinner about 8 and found a lovely menu.  In addition to the normal offerings, there were dishes specially made of local cheeses and traditional recipes (soufflé of blue cheese, etc.).  The fondue proved to be one of the best ever--presented with a glass of kirsch beside the pot to dip the bread before putting it in the cheese.  Others tried the more exotic Asian spring rolls and shrimps, and more traditional salad frissee lardon.  All was delicious and well-presented.  Service could not have been better, and the ambiance was that of a local brasserie.

Like a cozy cottage for Hanzel and Gretel in the snowy Rossiniere!

من زبان فارسی را خوب نمی دانم ولی اگر کسی دنبال این است که قطعه ای از بهشت رو ببینه حتما به روسینیر بیاد و در این هتل زیبا ساکن بشه هتلی که از چوب ساخته شده و دارای اتاق خواب های گرم و زیبا و غذاهای خوشمزه ومحیطی دلچسب مناظری زیبا از کوهستان پر درخت در شاتو دی اوکس 
I know persian a little but I am writing for those who look for a piece of paradise. They should see the place and stay in this beautiful hotel  which is made of wood and has comfy bedrooms and delicious food and beautiful scenery of woods full of large and ever green trees in chateau de oxe

I am going to write the review in persian for those who always complained about not understanding other languages. 

I booked 5 nights in this inn while my family stayed in the Heidi Chalet up the hill, a nice walk UP from the village. As others have said, the public spaces and rooms are very clean, simple, and well-kept. The breakfasts are excellent, set out for each guest. The restaurant and outdoor cafe seem to be popular with locals, too, which is nice. I ate one dinner on the patio, excellent. (I would have enjoyed another dinner but the restaurant closed for a day midweek- don't know if that is a regular happening. I was glad that there is a small market right across the street (though open only till 5 pm.)
I had an unplanned opportunity to check out accessibility when I broke my ankle hiking early in my visit. I was grateful that this old building has been renovated to include an elevator! The innkeepers Minou and Dede were both very attentive and helpful, brought me ice for my ankle and a tea kettle for my room. People who are sensitive to smoke might have some issues in the public spaces, as there is a good bit of smoking, especially around the outdoor tables. (This is the case in Switzerland generally, not just here.)

We spontaneously booked the plume for one night and were mostly entertained by the hospitality. The owners (?) were very helpful and friendly from the reservation to the check-out. The hotel itself is cozy and has local charm. We had a family room with 4 single beds, the expansion style was medium (mixed between old and modern), but everything was clean and completely sufficient. There was a small but fine breakfast buffet (Sunday).

It's nice.

We were passing by with a group of friends for lunch. The welcoming table, an excellent meal, courteous service, impeccable and fast... not to mention an excellent dessert!!! thank you!!!! a serious advantage before going to Rougemont and then Gstaad...
