This hostel is beautiful! Stylishly furnished, cozy, warm and very clean. I can judge this hotel (even if only two rooms), and this is what makes the charm of the aux bons matins de capella, with the best recommendation. The Duc couple as well as the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. I will come back when I am in the area!

Accommodation including breakfast

Was planning on staying at Le Crans (big 5 star hotel), but opted for this quaint B and B in the beautiful little town of Chermingon - and we were NOT let down one bit. Wonderful room with great sheets/towels and mattress. Wonderful patio! Extremely quiet and peaceful stay just down the road from the busy and hectic town of Crans Montana. The breakfast and personal service was absolutely perfect. This historic town had so much more character than the big resort town, and was just a short drive away. Can't wait to return. The hosts couldn't have been any better.

A refined kitchen with a warm service. David and his wife bring a professional and very familiar welcome. The quality of the cuisine is worth a 15 at the Gault & Millau. The choice of wines in the region is perfect.

Dinner with a Swedish friend

Comfortable room and warm reception. Creative and high-end gastronomy, the presentation is already a treat and the palace is delighted. An authentic bistro like it no longer exists in the heart of a typical, charming and so cute village.

It's a stunning dining and landscape.

A beautiful, peaceful, soft bed in a house that dates back to 1702, my room also gave access to a nice, comfortable dining room and what about a... refined decor!

A very nice room, with a large bathtub in the bedroom, a small terrace for summer breakfasts, a very quiet place, surrounded by beautiful wooden houses and clay roofs.

A lovely house typically in Valais.

It has only two rooms, but they're very nicely decorated. Quiet if you don't go to bed early because there's a restaurant downstairs and people are going to smoke outside. But from about 11:00 p.m. it's absolutely quiet. Large bathroom. The toilet in the open unlocked room is no problem for one person but for two. The windows should be darkened better. Dinner was fantastic but expensive. I've never had such a tender game meat before. Great!

Very specific

Just came back from a night there and I have to say, the room is beautiful but my stay has been ruined by the owner (women). 
If the rest of the staff was very kind, we've been welcome the worst way ever (I've never experienced that before).
 The owner came to "greet" us at the door by warning us straight away after a smileless hello that we'd better be on time at breakfast before 9:30 and that we'd better take well care of the room cause a student from our school apparently did not behave well in the past, and that for us the check out time would be 11 (instead of the normal time of 12) cause she might need more time to clean it after us, and no kidding said in a way a grandmother would lecture you after misbehaving really bad. 
As it was my first time here I was a bit shocked so I could not help but ask if this is the way she greets all her guests, which she answered me that no only people from my school as we apparently have bad reputation. So I asked why did she accept our reservation if its to obviously make us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable as soon as we arrive and she said she did not know we were from there. That night was a surprise from my boyfriend and we were both very excited about it, well thanks to her she just ruined our mood since arrival. After being lectured and criticised just because of the university we are studying in, we did not want to stay. The room was beautiful, though dusty and some black hair were to be found in the bathtub and in the bed. 
The room we had was well decorated but only for couple as there are no walls from the room to the bathroom (nor toilet) and the big bathtub is in the bedroom. 

The next morning, the women welcomed us to breakfast nicely and apologised for her behaviour but unfortunately I do not think it can change or make it up for such welcome and for ruining the start of our stay. Don't forget that us, "young people" are future potential customers and I guarantee you that my school will be informed of such behaviour towards us. Parents of students from my school also are potential customers for you and that is why I think that such behaviour is unprofessional, unacceptable, discriminative and simply rude. 

I am sure it can be a great place to stay otherwise but after such experience I will not recommend this place, god knows who else is she discriminating? (I don't want to know)

A beautiful room but horrible welcome

We stayed at the bed and breakfast Aux bons matin de Capella from 1 to 2 November 2014 and were very warmly received by Elizabeth Duc. The room is decorated with a lot of charm and aesthetics, we immediately felt comfortable. A beautiful view complements the good impression. The room is very clean, there is nothing missing - even bathing suits are available.
