Location: very good location. Right In the Taipei Station Q Square Mall. Safe at night with many area for u to wander around brightly lit.

Ambience: can be better. It is very basic. Bed and shower with bathtub. Nothing to complain about or commend on. One main point of complain is the poor sound insulation. U can even hear the lift door from your room. 

Toilet: the main reason why I would not recommend this place. The toilet hot water condition is poor. Always on and off making it impossible to bath or shower properly. 

Service: good service. Very prompt and friendly staff.


Convenient but can be better

More a functional place to stay than a luxurious one which is appropriately reflected in the price.

What I liked:
Close to shops, eateries, above Taipei Main station which is useful for day trips and mrt.
Useful to have washing machine and dryer which was very easy to use.
Good daily housekeeping.

What I didn’t like:
Walls are thin eg  can hear next room in the shower and even though we were a couple of rooms away from the lifts, the lift bell can be heard clearly, which can be frustrating especially when it rings a few times an hour.
Mattress is extremely firm to the point that my son and I had bruising on my hips after a few nights so this is a major deal breaker if you do not like firm mattresses. 

Will try a hotel next time

The place is a bit odd - from the check-in/entrances to the rooms themselves. It's confusing to find and you have to walk through a maze to get to your room. The two bed "apartment" was comfortable but very dated. The one bedroom had a dining area with false curtains covering a blank wall. But having said that - the location is fantastic. It's located above a nice enough shopping mall and a stone's throw from the main metro and high speed train station. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Rooms had good amenities and very comfortable beds - just wish there was a stocked minibar.

A little odd but an excellent location

This was a great place and location to use as a base to travel around Taipei or day trip around.  We were in Taipei for a family reunion trip with a large group (15ppl).  The apartment we were in is a two-bedroom apartment that has adequate amenities (kitchen with fridge and stove (no microwave though) and washer (no dryer but hang dry). The large bedroom has a queens size bed (American standard) and the second bedroom has a twin bed but we asked for an extra bed (tightly squeezed) for two people.  Overall, the rooms are clean and the bathroom only has a shower. As stated earlier, the location is ideal since it's near the Taipei Main Station and MRT is located below the building through Q Square Mall, which has plenty of food stalls and coffee (Starbucks).   The staff is friendly and accommodating to assist.  However, if you don't speak Chinese, it can be difficult at times but they will try to speak English best they can. I certainly will return to stay here again given the location and amenities in the surrounding area. 

Great Location

We booked this hotel through Agoda and since we are a family of four , we booked two Japanese rooms on promotion. Apparently they only have one of these rooms on each floor , we were placed on the 10th and 15th floor . Very inconvenient for a family . 
Pros
1) location is on TOP of Main Taipei MRT and Taipei bus station and train stations to The rest of the country. 
2)The apartments are situated on TOP of Qsquare mall with plenty of eateries and shopping . 
3) apartments are relatively clean with free wifi, fridge and two bottles of mineral water. 
4) washing machine on the balcony as well as a small stove provided with plates and cutlery
Cons 
1) Avoid the Japanese rooms -the Low 
queen size bed is next to a curtain and there were stains on our curtain so to sleep and avoid touching the curtains made sleeping not so pleasant . 
2) a small table and two Japanese chairs were provided but for more elderly folks , it was impossible to sit down because you had to sit cross legged. 
3) Bath tub was too high and too deep . Getting out of it , one had to be very careful . Not recommended for elderly folks. 
4)The last few visits here , the reception offered biscuits and snacks but this round , they only had sweets . 
Would I return? Only for the location and definitely not to stay in their Japanese rooms . 

Japanese room type 

I have no pictures of the room because I did not want to clog up my memory card with poor settings. Space is good enough but bed is too small for a family of 3 with a 9 year old. Everything extra you need to pay: like NT$300 per day for an extra towel 🙄. It’s NT$1000 per day for an extra bed. Sofa is for very small people like a 9 year old to sit but not lie down. Overall if not for the MRT connections, we would have chosen a better place if this was our second trip. 

Easy access but old and noisy

Stayed here for three nights at the start of our Taiwan trip and then three nights again at the conclusion.

Pros:

The location is excellent to all manners of transportation. But be prepared to walk.
Airport MRT is the furthest. Walk towards Qsquare/Taipei Bus Station.
The Red and Blue MRT lines cross here.
The TRA railway takes you everywhere. To buy tickets and board it’s Faster to actually cross the street to the Taipei Main Station.
HSR platforms for the bullet trains, follow the well laid out signs.
Buses to airports are directly across on the corner. No need to walk so far to the MRT with luggage. At the airport, look for signs Bus To City (no. 1819). 

Great local breakfast place a few blocks away, Sihai Soy Milk. Skip the line and go to the back, ask for the English menu.

Couple of great coffee shops just across the back.

Cons:

Could be better lit.

Need to get on two sets of elevators to reach the rooms.

Staff, while professional and helpful, could do with a bit of a smile. Exceptions were Lydia and Adam. Thanks.

My cons can be overlooked just for the sheer advantage of the location. Sits on a high end mall with a great food floor in the basement.

Rating 3.5 stsrs

Nice decoration room with kitchen and washing machine.  The room is located in the condominium complex with 18 stories.  The Condo is built above the shopping mall called Qsquare.  It is very convenient place to enjoy dining, shopping and trip to different location all over Taiwan.  Bus terminal is right next door, Bullet train station, local train station and subway MRT station is below the shopping mall and condo complex.  Around 10 minutes walk to Airport MRT station.  It takes around 40 minutes to the airport by Taoyuan MRT.  Airport bus services are running 24 hours.  If you do not expect luxury hotel life, but just for sleep and perhaps simple breakfast in room, this is the place to stay.

Convenient Location just above the train and the bus terminal station

I booked a 2-bedroom apartment and it was simply perfect. Right from a friendly, warm, efficient and fast reception, to a splendid location; and finally a hassle-free checkout. The apartment is reasonable spacious, the rooms are large and beds comfortable. It is surprisingly quiet despite it at the centre of Taipei’s transportation hub. There is also a small kitchen area and a washing machine. There is only one bathroom/toilet and it is clean and everything works fine. Wifi is free and strong. Access to the apartment is easy, either from the main road outside or from within Qsquare Mall. So you can move in and out without having to worry about weather conditions outside. It’s location at Taipei Main Station means easy and direct access to all public transportation: buses, MRT, HSR, trains (TRA) and airport MRT. Shopping, bargains and high-ends are practically at the doorsteps, so are food and entertainment outlets.

In the centre of everyhting

The apartment is big, much bigger than a standard hotel room.  Location is convenient, just on top of the Taipei MRT station and opposite to the Taipei Train Station.  You'll find everything down the shopping mall and the supermarket.  There's a food court in the mall, and more restaurants in the Train Station.
