We stayed a night here in our trip back to Bangkok and we had a good time.
The few people of the staff are all very nice. Food was good with a lot of variet and the location was just absolutely stunning, with the beach at our feet and close to the pier to grab our ferry back to the ciity :)

Enjoyable 1-night

We booked 1 night through Expedia. The stay itself was average. Room had AC but beds and pillows were super hard. To use the restroom you’ll have to go outside and down a flight of stairs to the main area. There was no one else staying when we were there. The area itself is only convenient if you need to stay by the Nathon pier. There are limited restaurants around. We took a songthaew from the pier the next day, 100baht/person to stay in Lamai beach, which was beautiful. 

There was only 1 woman working & she didn’t speak English. We were hoping to get a breakdown of the island from someone but that was impossible. Upon checkout, she had to call her boss as she didn’t understand our questions. We told him we reserved through Expedia but he told us to pay cash. We believed him. Now we’re charged on our card and out cash and the hostel is silent on offering a refund through Expedia. Incredibly disappointing. 

Paid twice 

The hostel is a small but newly renovated and very clean hostel. Four rooms with air conditioning, typically hard Thai mattresses, but this is also the only thermal drain. There are also rooms with electronic locks and shutters, as well as a refrigerator with drinks at fair prices and a washing machine. There are two showers, a newly renovated and an older one but both clean. In addition, there are beach views on two beautiful terraces with chill-out area. There is also a small kitchen with coffee and cookies. The host is very friendly and perfectly helps with all problems. So in the evening we have a soccer-WM-M-M-M-M-M together but also relaxed away. It is recommended to run around 10 minutes from the pier and take a taxi, but it is also convenient for all groups to take a day trip to the airport.

Quiet hostel with top hosts

This hostel has a very calm and relaxing vibe. The owner, Kay, is very friendly and a funny guy. There are hammocks, there is a nice shared space where you can play darts or cards. And the fridge is fully stocked and very reasonably priced! I only stayed one night in Koh Samui, but I highly recommend this place, especially if you have to catch an early morning ferry!

Relaxing hostel right by the pier

I stayed here for one night to catch the morning ferry over to Koh Phangan. Kay was a real gem, he greeted me with a bowl of local fried pork snacks (which was 10x better than KFC in my opinion). The place is really laid back with two curious little kittens scurrying around - they don't disturb anyone and are a little shy! Kay even gave me a lift on his scooter to the Songserm pier in the morning. I forgot I still had my locker keys in my bag and called Kay, and he graciously rode back to the pier to retrieve them, with a smile! Thank you Kay!

The toilets are clean and cool showers adequate. The beds were clean and a little hard for my liking but that's just me. I slept well nonetheless. I was provided with a clean smelling blanket and bath towel which I did appreciate. Lockers are provided to guests.

I can't recommend Dream Cat-cher enough!

The place recently got a new owner. Kay is a very funny and helpful guy. We rented bicycles and stayed one night for 200B/person (€5). Unfortunately, the cats are gone (we saw only one)... Nevertheless, the beach view from the hammocks in the social area is priceless. If you're looking for something cheap and perhaps close to the Nathon ferry pier, this place is the best you'll get!

New owner

Very nice host family and cool location - only the toilet could be nicer... but for 2-3 nights highly recommended especially for solo travelers or groups of 4 (because of the rooms).

Super suited for backpacking

We booked here last minute and we're pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The hosts were super friendly, had some lovely cats and the atmosphere of the place was super chilled. I would highly recommend this place to people that are after a relaxing few nights away from all the parties on other parts of the island. Thanks so much! 

Amazing, chilled, friendly.

Very friendly host, nice location right on the beach. Everything is very clean and organized. And the cats are golden! The rooms are good with ac, there is a kitchen with minibar and snacks. Can I just recommend it!

This is a great hostel!

It's a shared room. It has a kitchen, washing machine and dryer... water, tea and coffee for free. The bathroom has paper, shampoo, gel... quite complete for the price it has. The owner is very friendly and serviced. One of the most serviced hostels. The beach is right across the street!
