We had reserved a double room, and she told us that she had none available, that the first night we had to sleep in a shared room and that if we wanted the double room the second night we had to pay 100 baht more.Because we were tired and we saw that it was very difficult to reach an agreement, we accepted.The hostel itself, as well as the rooms, were very dirty and with very bad smells.The bathrooms were clogged and without toilet or sauna service.

The worst we've ever been in.

If you like bugs, mice, rude old ladies, feeling like you are actually in the bar across the street, testing the limits of you heat tolerance or 5 story falls down an open elevator shaft, this place is for you!  We walked out after 10 minutes and paid for another hostel as we weren't sure that we could safely stay the night.  You know shame us for paying after we both saw mice running behind the checkin counter.  Lesson learned there.

Prison would be more comfortable

Very nice lady . Very clean hostel .AC is strong it was also nice to have a hot shower . Close walk to bank shopping and good eats . Looking forward to the American breakfast tomorrow . She will also book onward trip too .

Do clean 

We arrived at this hotel that had strangely changed its name. Our reservation was right there. The setting is glaucoma, very little furniture. A very large and almost empty room overlooking the very noisy street. A snack to avoid. Although the price is more than attractive (14 euros), for an extra euro we found much better.

Noisy and loud.

My partner and I stayed at Cube hostel for six nights in the lanta room. And we can honestly say that it was one of the best places we have stayed in the whole of Thailand. In fact we only stayed here because of a place we previously booked somewhere else (for a lot more money may I add!) We were severely disappointed. Then we found cube hostel and Jane. We didn't regret a moment in cube or in Krabi town.

Jane, the owner of cube hostel is super nice, she is very helpful with any questions and can just chat to you about life in general. The dorms and showers are very clean. The showers are also quite big on the top floor. Breakfast is included, loved my stay here

Jane is amazing

The owner is a very sweet lady, the rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Bottom bunks in the dorm I was in had curtains which was nice to have some privacy for once and to block out other people's lights to sleep. Overall a very enjoyable stay, I would highly recommend to a friend!! She also gives you a really good price to get to the airport!! 

Great hostel!!

I booked this hostel based on the reviews praising the owner for her friendliness and helpful. When I moved into dorm, I also spoke with another person and she said the owner lady is very helpful in helping her book 4 islands tour with discount. So we talked to the owner about the tour option for Koh Phi Phi. She said the normal price is 2400 bath but since the tour company is her friend's, she get discount for 1700 bath per person including 400 bath for national park fee. We told her we will get some money and come back and booked with her. She was very nice, she gave us a map and showed us where we can exchange money and even went as far as calling her friend to check for the rate. We thanked her and left to look for the money exchange office. On the way there, out of curiosity, I dropped by a tour information booth and asked how much for the same tour, they charged 900 bath not including 400 park fee. We shopped around a bit more and ended up choosing the cheapest company which we pay 1150 in total. We decided not to tell her and checked out very early the next day. Other than that, the hostel is simple but comfortable bed. Free breakfast. Hostel is located right in the heart of Krabi town so very convenient to visit the night market. Since there is not much going on in Krabi town rather than the main bus station where you travel to and from Krabi, we decided to move to Ao Nang the next day. 

Average hostel, sneaky owner 

I booked a private room without bathroom - room was without window and it was onerous. The bedsheet was dirty - they changed. We used the laundry in this hotel - it was rather positive experience. Bathroom was very small and didn't comfortable. The owner was nice and helpful, price was quite low. Location is very good, hostel was close to every place where we wanted go. I don't regret staying ther.

Rather goog

Last night (very late at night and spontaneously) I rented a private room with a ventilator for 500 baht. The room was large enough and clean. On the hallway there were 2 showers and 2 toilets. Both were clean. The bed, however, was Steinhart! I would recommend you to test the mattress if possible beforehand (I was allowed to look at the room beforehand) However, the owner was very kind and friendly and could give us good tips! She even prepared breakfast (including toast, marmalade, beans and tea or coffee) in the morning. Even after we checked out, she was kind enough to tell us the way to the bus and wished us a nice time back in ao nangette!
